ok...upgrading electrical means HO alternator, big 3, batteries, etc... umm i personally would go with Sundown because there cs is excellent they will take care of ya...plus the 3500d does rated power at 12.6v which is ungodly

either amp will put out enourmous power..so in order to support that how strong is your electrical?

what kind of wires do you need.. just 1/0 gauge? look in knukoncepts.com for amp kits

so the amp will work fine and then cut out? but the amp doesnt go into protect? if thats whats happening i had the same problem with my 3000d. it was the mosfits near the rca input..

changing out the front battery doesnt do too much inless theres something wrong with that battery you could go with a Kinetik 2400 or two 1800s

yep you could just cut out a hole in the back/bottem to run the speaker wires threw if u do attach the amp to the box get some rubber gromlets between

i have a HO 200 amp alternator. dont have any extra batteries(just havent ordered). so u got the 3000d referbished? and use it on 1 fi btl loaded right? its what im thinking of doing. and reccomend a good battery? i am running a Kinetik hc2400..were you going th purchase the "New Heatsink" B stock SAZ 3000d?

yea man i got the 3000d and absolutly love it...yea i had to send it back in but totally wortth the wait...Db-r is excellent with customer service, free shipping from db-r to me which saved me forty bucks.. definitly recommend the Sundown.. If u go with the SAZ 2000d im pretty sure it does rated power at 12.6v which is amazing so if u have strong electrical then you will see more powwwerrr!!!

did you get a duel 1 or 2???? cuz hopefully you got a duel 2 and wire it to 1ohm for that amp
