Got alot of shit done in the past week or so.. been working alot because of the new job but its paying for the new build so i can't complain. As you can see i am sticking with 2 18s but decided to double the power.. Bought the motors already, just need to purchase soft parts, baskets. Bought another D3100 and now runing a total of 3 in the back. Rough picture of the pleather but you get the idea.. still have to sand the port, and roll paint it. But other than that it looks good. Couldn't fit any better. Motors..

I had an 03 Evo 8 about 2 years ago. Obviously it was used and had previous owners... Now I know that you can't buy those vehIcals used because you don't know what the other owner drove. But even if it was in prestiene condition I still feel like the maintence would be high. Clutch changes (depending on how you drive) but they are an absolute joke in the lancers... Glad it wasnt an MR edition or probably would have had issues with the tranny. Just glad I am out of that mess and have a reliable car now... No issues yet just need to do the 100k service in a year or so ( timing belt).

That sucks your already contemplating on trading vehicles, or just getting something else. I find it rediculous how good the resale value is for the Sti's, Evo's and even the Wrxs. You still can't get one for under 14 grand. Not including the wrx's, and that's for the mid 2003-05 range. Including higher milage as well. Good luck with insurance as well.. That was a main reason why I swapped mine out. Ain't going to pay 2400 dollars a year, not to mention the maintance costs..

Hah yeah I do change it up quite a bit.. The next build is going to include the same Shell but a bit different design. I am going to keep the woofers a secret.. All I can say it will be same power but more cone area. Stay tuned, most likely not order the woofers for a couple more weeks.
