  1. i would say they could handle 2000W no problem , i have seen ICONs take 1500 without damage , and they are rated for 1000W, so yeah buy one and see what they can do
  2. nice box, looking good, dual 18" X-con , very loud , what are they going into ? car ? Truck ?
  3. Welcome , newcomer , 8" D-con X 3 , would be sweet for you truck , it would pound , at sound amazing , i am so impressed with my D-con it is well worth the money , but hey when you do get your new subs do them some justice and get Thumpper to biuld you a PTS box , you will not regret it , i promise , if i had things my way , every SSA sub ever made should go into one of Trevor's Enclosures , But thats just me , LOL , happy pounding peace
  4. have you done your Big 3 yet ? that will help also too , depending on what size of car and battery you have , you might need a cap, hope that helps ,
  5. yeah it looks good , and it was quite heavy too, LOL i'll be checking this one out , as it unfolds , but so far so good as usual Trevor is the MAN .... can't wait to get my third PTS box , coming soon , Dual 10" D-cons
  6. i'll give it a week tops , Trevor is known to destroy even the best made woofers, but it will give his JBL amp something to chew on for awhile. LOL
  7. mixing different sizes of subs , will not sound good , it might get loud , but it will sound nasty, each size of sub will be moving at different speeds , some going fast , some slow , it would be nutz , so yeah pick a pair and stick with it,
  8. i agree , give the sub the power it needs to perform, if you underpower , it might damage the sub
  9. welcome!

  15. ok WTF , i just checked out the battery requirements for street stock , and my STOCK battery for my 92' spirit is too big my Battery is 700cc , and the max size for street stock is 650cc ? so i have to go buy a smaller battery ? like what the hell? is this true ? or am i out to lunch ?
  16. ok thanks Denim , i will check those rules out , also too , have you heard about Back seat modifications to incorporate a pass-thru , as long as the back seat is functonal then it should be all good right ? thanks my car doesn't have a leagal pass-thru , but Mr. Komant , who built two of my boxes, and sold me the best sub i ever owned , has a similar back seat mod, and he had no problems, just wanted to get some more feeback,
  17. Anybody ???? amps under seat ??legal for street stock???? please help guys....... i looked on termpro , couldn't find anything about amp locations ..... somebody out there has to know the answer......
  18. Hey guys , need a little help here i have my mono amp under my driver seat , and my component's amp under my passenger seat, now i am going to be entering into street stock division this season, and i heard from a reliable source that i would have to move my amps into the trunk to qualify in street stock , and then i heard from another reliable source that as long as the amps are completely hidden under the seat that it would be all good, ??? which is the correct info ?? any help or advice would be apreciated, thanks

  21. i dont now much about the subs , but i would choose the twelves , the smaller the woofer the tighter the sound, and besides the two twelves would be more surface area, which would hit louder on the mic
  22. anybody who would like some of those white ones, i can hook them up with my guy who designs custom decals, just let me know, the yellow ones are good too
  23. HAHAHA , thats funny , yeah ok your probably right, i guess i can check on termpro , for official rules ,

  25. oh ok , yeah i want to compete in a class i have a chance , i was told from someone i know , from the way i have my gear setup , i will be in SSNW , but he might have been wrong , i have 1 mono amp under my seat ( 500W ) 1 10" sub ( 300 W ) 1 battery 1 alternator no dynomat no Cap sub in trunk back seat removed car running windows up no illeagel mods so what class will i be in ? can anybody help ? thanks
