I have a complete budget system that I will be starting as a little project for me. Im a senior in High school with not much money to spend so I'm looking for opinions on a nice budget Amp that will give out about 1-1.5k rms power at 2 ohms (it'll be running to (4) 4 ohm subs). My budget would probably have to be around 150-250$ give or take a little. I'm open to all opinions and come here to ask you guys since no other reviews and forums don't have as much knowledge as you guys . Thanks

Yeah....If im not mistaking I believe I have a clicking noise also on my XT2000D once it is recieving power. Could be wrong, I d have to go check really quick.

you would be able to smell something funny for sure. When a sub of mine a while back had a burnt voice coil I made the mistake of putting in my room and it stunk up my room and left the burnt smell in their for a few days.

with that being said what amp would you guys suggest for around 200$ that will handle 1k-1.5k rms. either for .5 ohms or 2 ohms.

nope flatwind. Ive read a few of your posts about your system and it sounds identical to mine. Sub up port back and having all that rattle where the back window is and what not..but I think im swapping systems. I have a little project coming involving 4 8" subs. We'll see how that goes and if i decide i like em better the ssd will be up for sale possibly or into storage.

The FI BL and Q are rated at same power. The BL is more on the SPL side but is often used for a daily driver and still has good sound Quality where as the Q is the all alround SQ based sub. Why not just go for the Q?

not much. IF you only saw the setup there isnt much I can do about it. Thats why I wanted to go sealed so I can fit my sub to face the trunk instead of it facing up ported.

wtf? Obviously you have NO idea what low is. :( And to the OP, why don't you address the rattles instead of changing your box. If it is only the rattles that bother you it seems rather independent of the box. the rattling is a bit hard to address. there is not much i can do about all of it. If i can i will try to get pics/videos to show you the setup.

What are the prices on those amps? IF you know by any chance how much does the hellfire 1000.1 cost?

I'd say get the second one. It offers a 120 amp fuse compared to the first one which offers the 80 amp. (120fuse Is perfect for the amount of power you have) it also comes with extra wire here and there and thicker gauge speaker wire. Edit: I have kbuconcepts and can say that they really pack there wire and are easy and fast to deal with. Also forgot to mention the main difference between all three is that the first is just there normal wire, the second is there flexible wire and third is there bulky/extremely packed wire.
