  1. So, I had a bad flex problem... Removed the bottom of the cap door. The channel has just enough room for my idea. 1/8" Stainless angle with a few pop rivets to secure it. This stiffened the door up a lot! I played a sine sweep from 80hz. - 20hz. and it took an estimated 80% of the flex out of the rear of the truck! MAJOR improvement! I also had time to dig for a set of old neons I had laying around. I put these on a toggle switch so I can click em' on/off when I want to. This is just until I can line the inside of the amp rack with LED. Kinda also playing with a wall/clam shell design for a possible future enclosure.
  2. Whew! It'd be a little over 2 hours of a drive for me.... How much is the entry cost?
  3. What are the windshield banners going to look like? (just soundsoulutionsaudio.com?) I know I want the big one for the rear window (blue).

    Hey! Welcome to SSA!
  5. LOL... I took a lot of pics and video too! I wondered around the show 3 times until I finally found mdizzle5472 sitting up by the db lanes.. Show on July 25th? Is there a weblink?????
  6. He made some good beats.... Personal life aside, he had some good beats...
  7. Howdy! If you catch wind of any, post it up!!! (Please) I wanna show of these Icons!!! LOL
  8. M. Jackson died today. Not a fan of his "Neverland Ranch thingy" but when I was a kid he did make some good beats!
  9. True Story- Yep, a dead mouse! LOL My bud parked his ride in his barn for the winter. (his family farms) Somehow, someway, a mouse decided to nest inside the enclosure. I guess the cold or ??? got to it and it died. It never stank or anything. It just sounded like wadded up newspaper was in there.
  10. The more I play with the features, the more I like the program. I'm digging it now. The Chrome(import) theme is growing on me.
  11. OMFG!!! What the.....? WoW... The only thing that's good for is a paperweight. IMO I agree with only running one sub from now on. Other than that, I'm speechless..
  12. Waste of time and mat ...IMO Just build a more solid braced enclosure if it's an issue....
  13. Sounds like something bad happened in there.. You may want to investigate with a full visual inspection. It could be a wire got pulled from a terminal, a panel broke loose inside, tear in the cone,or a dead mouse. (laugh but I've seen the dead mouse thing, long story...LOL) Any two ways about it, something went way wrong in the enclosure. Bandpass enclosure are known for abusing subs. (some even shred cones) I don't think voltage drop would be an issue if it wasn't one before.
  14. try the chrome.. it's a little easier on the eyes.
  15. That's one sweet looking kitchen!!!!
  16. I'm trying to find out... The only show I can find is in around Dayton,OH in Sept, (I think) It's hard to find out when comps are due to lack of promotions. It's like trying to find a good party, it's all in who you know and talk to... And since I'm not a fan of my local install shops, this may be an issue. Most of them never bother to update their websites let alone give out information unless you waste your money there...
  17. My vote is, Alternator upgrade and 2 batteries... The caps won't help as much as the batteries... (for proof try to Db drag with caps....)
  18. I logged on today to a huge change! I like the features but not the layout... It'll take some getting used to.
  19. to each his own, IMO... I don't like using welding cable because the insulation cracks and splits over time. But I have seen a lot of people use it.

  22. I don't think Trevor has had any issues with his enclosures, that is until they ship and some idiot rams a forklift through it! LOL
  23. Oh yeah! I want in on this!!!LOL The work involved on installs is half the fun!! (The other half comes when you hear the BOOM!)
  24. It's only a little over an hour, if you need some help with this monster!! LOL (I love a good install!)
  25. Dang.......I just noticed you're from Cincy!!!! What up neighbor!!!!! LOL
