  1. If I remember correctly I thought I gave you a call letting you know that Stan made a mistake and we actually didn't have an alternator for your vehicle yet and that we were at least a month out. We are still in the midst of developing it and Robbie is head on getting it completed. I'm really sorry but I can't get you something that we don't have yet. I will be more than happy to give you a refund if you would like your money back if needed though. Let me know.
  2. No one really understands how much power the XP series alternators take to really charge at idle... hence why the cases kept on SNAPPING from the stress of the alternator from how pissed off they are. That's my 4 cylinder struggling as well. They are truly pissed off alternators. Also having your battery disconnected for a period of time will make the computer need to relearn it's idle A/F mixtures. My car while relearning almost stalls out for a while until it finally figures out what's going on... takes longer as well because the XPs throw the computer off and have to learn to compensate for the extra load it is. Because when your battery is disconnected it goes to factory default parameters.. but you just put a really mean alternator in there so it is still learning how to compensate for the extra torque required. You wont kill this alternator by charging up batteries... we don't recommend it due to warranty reasons and whatnot. but honestly they don't fail because of the regulator being too smart. So everyone, relax on the car having to work harder, do you really think massive power comes free? Edit... im going to shoot a quick video of what the alternator does to my car when i turn on my stereo.. LOL.
  3. It's not that it takes longer to make a sticker, it's that fedex express came too early and none of the hondas were ready for shipment. I can't ship something express if express already came.
  4. Thank you very much for keeping us updated. Did the alternator i had get converted back into it's original state, which was the 270xp instead of the 250xp? Yessir, was a 270. No ones got overnighted. I was focusing on trying to get everyones alternators out due to FedEx Express coming an hour early, so unfortunately I didn't have time to expedite the alternators because they already came and gone. I can't change this over to something quicker either unfortunately, I apologize. name?? This was already brought to our attention before this situation, we were already proactively working on the situation after that to try and fix the problem. Things take time...
  5. Following Left today: Austin, Harvey and Nathan
  6. Yessir they are direct bolt on
  7. I have a 270 in my car and have no direct ground from the case. I go from the engine to chassis, chassis to battery and have no issues reaching full output. Hell, I'm now running 13kw on my 270 and hardly drop below 14v unless I really hammer on the thing with 1 run of 0ga to the back of pos an neg... Vids are to come of that.. soon. As for the sporadic voltage drop, it sounds like belt slip to me.. try tightening the belt if needed and if you're still having an issue we can either get you a custom pulley thats bigger or if you get me the belt number i can get you a gates racing belt which are just full of win because they simply don't stretch like other conventional belts. lmk.

  9. Let us verify that everything us kosher with his first
  10. Phi yours will be off to the powder coater after the frames are confirmed to be good.

  12. PS: That discontinuing the XP series alternators was posted on April Fools on facebook. Can't believe you guys didn't get the joke.
  13. Robbie and I were talking one night at dinner and him and I came to the conclusion that we needed to make things right with Eric. We all know how everyone can get in the heat of the moment but in the end, things needed to be correctly handled. We knew Eric wouldn't give us his money again due to his bad experience, so we decided to send him this alternator regardless to make amends to the situation. Eric, that would be a 270XP as we promised to you in the first place months ago. This frame WAS designed to be direct bolt on so let us know how it goes. The reason it doesn't have a birth sheet is that I couldn't get the damn thing on the machine.. we have to make a new mounting bracket for it. I had to test it on our older machine which unfortunately, doesn't make nice pretty birth sheets. Let us know how it goes and I hope it was worth all the bs...
  14. 180 would be 389-429, 320 will be 499-549 and not a problem
  15. I know rob has something planned with the corollas with our CNC machines... but they are at least a couple months out. We will have at least a 180 amp unit and 320 amp unit for your vehicle.
  16. Since Rob is home with family I will post all that i know which is i know the brackets are still being worked on. I wish i had more of an answer but i don't want to look like we're ignoring you.
  17. Some people don't really need to. It's dependent on the vehicle, belt, and how long it's been in use... for example, im still using my stock belt on mine..
  18. We can always run bigger pulleys on our alternators and still have good idle output, however most stereo Junkies want the extra idle output. Replacing the belt is the best option however I can see what I can do if you want a bigger pulley... let me know.
  19. Boxing this right now... Just cooling down in the AC for a minute
  20. These alternators are pretty much ready to go. There isn't any prototyping involved, but rather just putting them together and what not. So you won't be waiting a long time for it that's for sure. If I had to put a number on it, within 5-7 business days if not quicker.
  21. It's nothing about not having the extra 30 amps at a higher RPM... would you have 30 more amps on the top end or at idle? people dont realize that idle output is the most important aspect of a high output alternator for a daily driven vehicle.
  22. PRO series is a great unit. You'll love it. You may see little voltage drops here and there but it will keep up really well.
  23. The 390 beats the 270XP on the power curve from 2500 alternator RPM and up... so the 390 will have better output above 750-800 engine RPMs. As for the jolts and what not... I'll let you know when I get one in my car. but it will just be a slight pull on the engine.. lol.
  24. the big difference between the others versus the HP is the ripple current. Versus having 35-40 AC ripple current, the HP series alternators only produce 4-6. so you in essence get cleaner power and zero electrical noise from the alternator. You will never notice the 30 amp difference on the top but you will notice the 30 amp difference at idle..
