  1. Same here Cool story bro's Damn Adrian what did that amp do to you?
  2. Finally, someone with some sense. Or two people without sense, just depends at how you look at the glass.
  3. Any pics of the 1200x4, those ratings are nice and the 1 ohm version would be perfect.
  4. Will there be any higher powered models, like 100w or greater x4 @ 4ohms?
  5. Thanks and the same to you Aaron
  6. Buy them both and install them, thats the only way to find out. Too many factors to determine that answer.
  7. now pics of equipment please
  8. Glad to hear, there are still some good people out there.
  9. Clamp test are meaningless.....
  10. No problem man at all. If your building your enclosure in the car listed in your info, the 2006 impala then you have ample room to run 2-12"s ported. But that also depends on how much trunk space you want to give up for your system as well. A single 12" ported can please most people for a daily system, as long as its a good install.
  11. Ok good start so far, usually most people choose what amp they want to run first. Then decide on electrical and sub(s) to complete system. You can also look into welding cable wire instead of 1/0 amp kit to save some on some coin. You can always grab remote wire and rca's online or locally if need be. There is no such thing as underpowering a subwoofer so dont worry about getting the most powerful amp at the moment unless you plan on upgrading in the future or plan on competing heavily. Building an efficient enclosure is key.
  12. Why no big 3, its the cheapest electrical upgrade there is? Especially since you upgraded your sub amp.
  13. Stop listening to hearsay, rms ratings arent the determining factor and a sub handling more is absurd. The enclosure will determine how much power a sub can see, whether its thermally or mechanically. You cant tell what subs will hit more dbs then others without building the proper enclosure for each one in your vehicle and testing with a meter. What does your current electrical setup consist of? Im guessing stock battery and stock alternator with no big 3 wiring done. Whats the stock alternator output?
  14. Most users on here will say yes to the Gcon without even using both drivers. What are your goals with your system, budget (on amps and subs) and etc.
  15. Get a DMM and measure the coils to verify the ohm load.
  16. Im gonna guess a good place to start would be the shipping company and where ever you won the amplifier from. What actually came in the box or did you not receive anything but the tracking status states its delivered?
  17. Every time somebody votes in the poll it shows as if someone responded to the topic.
  18. Replacing the Q?
