  1. I like twins even if one is bigger than the other one. Love these batteries, the new underhood group 48 battery came resting at 12.96volts.
  2. Big 2 of 3 wiring is complete plus factory wire upgrade for the negative side, all 3 wires are 2/0 welding cable. The positive side is going to be a whole different animal.
  3. VW wiring terminals suck as they do not allow you to take off the nut to allow more terminals to be added. No biggie as I can easily replace it. I actually love their grounding points, pretty effin dope of you ask me. The nut that holds the wires is back but the underside that meets the terminals is bare metal.
  4. When you buy battery terminals and the whole is too small for the bolt, just bring out the drill and get to work
  5. New Battery Terminals from Jim's MachineWorx for my front battery. You will see why I need these later on, probably this weekend if I start on the big 3 wiring.
  6. I would but the blue lights from above, light it up perfectly. I need to find a different filter because my camera makes everything appear blue which it doesnt do looking at it in person.
  7. Woke up this morning and deadened the front door panels, picture is of driver side and both panels done the same.
  8. Fuck this Fender Audio stuff, is the short answer. It won't allow me to tap into or get great signal using a DSP. I have to get a Navtv Gen V unit to throw in between the radio and amp to get signal. My DSP doesn't have an optical input as well. But the shop is going to install my horns, build speaker brackets for all 4 doors and as well was run wires to the molex connectors for me. I felt comfortable doing it in the Hyundai but not the VW. On top of that I can't find a lick of wiring diagrams for this car, another can of worms to deal with as well.
  9. Some wire clamp downs, wiring still isn't permanent. I have to take her to a shop to get the DSP hooked up to the factory amplifier. Once that is done, then all the wiring will get done properly.
  10. Thanks man, I appreciate it. Mids will be bridged on my Audio Control LC6.1200, it does 400watts @ 4ohms bridged. Mids are 8 ohms. Bandwidth will be about 80hz - 1200 or 1500hz. I haven't decided all that yet but that's a starting point.
  11. Hit the three bar icon on the top right of this page. Select Account tab and then select Profile tab. On your profile you will see a pencil icon and image icon next to your profile image, either of those should work.
  12. and can't wait to see you what you guys do with the Jeep
  13. Until I find someone who can customize my doors when I'm ready to add the Eric Stevens MB8s, I ordered some 6.5”s. These Faital Pro 6PR160s are just beautiful and made with quality parts. The build quality is immaculate
  14. Sub wire is mounted to the top of the inside of the enclosure for a cleaner look, I also moved the jumper wires around so they won't be visible in the Plexi Glass window. Sub is wired up and screwed down.
  15. I used the drill battery to run the LEDs to see what they can do. 20210908_235534.mp4
  16. Playing with the LEDs while I get the wires attached to the enclosure and holes sealed up.
  17. Just got back from picking up this beautiful enclosure, plexi glass etched with Fi and a hidden LED strip. I'll get daytime shots in the morning
  18. No I haven't and to be honest with you, I did all the time in my Sonata. The one plus to this VW the under dash sits up very high from the floor. The car is taller than the Sonata for sure, way more leg and foot room. I was kinda cramped in the Sonata and I only wear a 12.
