  1. What does your front stage consist of?
  2. Yes it is too much to ask, you get what you put into it. If this was a serious thread and you took the time to give us proper information then no it wouldn't be to much to ask. Dont know if your trolling with your threads or not but at least put the effort into following the rules on how to make a thread.
  3. thanks. im not worried about what its doing at the moment. i will eventually find out though It did some great numbers but ill wait and let Timmy tell ya. Good shit so far Timmy, too bad you gotta take it all out again.
  4. That's what I had an issue with when I used my Kenwood deck 4 years ago, loved every bit of it except I couldn't see the display in direct sunlight even with 5% tint. That sucks to hear because I wanted to go back to Kenwood.
  5. If box size is an issue then we all know Sundowns take smaller boxes but being on this forum everybody is gonna recommend SSA so its pointless to make this thread. If your leaning towards Dcons and don't want to take up to much space then do one 15 or two 12s, simple as that.
  6. What is the new front stage gonna consist of since your selling the components?
  7. He doesn't have or want subs just PA speakers located on a wall behind him.
  8. The settings on the amp or h/u need to be adjusted more than likely.
  9. I been looking for some strippers lately, nice post Quentin
  10. Tantric subs or SSA 4" coil subs or some SP4s
  11. How did you smoke the tweeter, how much power is it receiving? Any plans on the new front stage yet?
  12. No problem, it was only one set of wire that did it so I wouldn't worry to much.
  13. I like their RCAs but don't care for the speaker wire, bad corrosion problems between jacket and copper.
  14. I wouldn't run a comp set active, it can be done but it's pointless in my opinion. There are so many raw drivers out there that would suit active much better.
  15. I beg to differ, how much power an amplifier puts out and how much power subs can take seems to be the name of the game. That market might not be the biggest right now but it damn sure is growing the fastest.
  16. No bass boost at all. Find out what preout voltage your headunit is and match your amplifiers gain to that number or just keep setting it by ear the way you were. It seems like you want more from your subwoofer so your applying the bass boost, not a good idea.
  17. Great subwoofers and I love mine, I wouldnt base my subwoofer decision off of reviews solely if any at all. Some companies have huge forum followers and some don't, that's why you see more reviews or topics on their products than others.
  18. Very impressive, keep up the good work
  19. I would say upgrade battery underhood, add a battery in the trunk, do Big 3 wiring, add a volt meter to watch voltage. From there I would decide my next step depending on voltage issues. Depending on size of vehicles alternator, upgrading the alternator may be needed as well.
  20. Looking good, nice attention to detail under the hood.
  21. If all those speakers are hooked up directly to your headunit without an amp then expect for your radio or its outputs to get destroyed too.
  22. Its a crosseover with a sub and a tweeter that comes prepackaged. Its a mid not a subwoofer that comes prepackaged in components. Im pretty sure he meant he didnt know what Impious was talking about and not what a component set it is since he currently has some.
  23. Haha hilarious, OP you should stop cause your not gonna get anywhere with these guys. Since you want to keep it all Alpine then go with the Type X out of the 3 choices you have since they have some great engineers behind them. If you don't like the comps, then put them in your other car like you stated earlier.
