I had an enclosure tuned to 26hz before and loved it, to each its on I guess. Yeah do what makes you happy, you're the one listening to it not me. I just personally don't see the point of tuning THAT low in a car. Depending on your music taste and system goals I could see why.

Then what in the F is the sensitivity rating for? In that case you can ignore all the specs and just guess lol Instead of running two woofers that would take the power fine and probably make him happy (depending on what he wants) you recommend that he run two woofers at the very tippy tip top of their power handling? The first thing you said was that there was misinformation in the thread...but then you go and post some more. EDIT: And how did you run two 3k's and then one 3k? Impedance doesn't work like that.... that's hardly the tippy top of their power handling lol. There's far more people putting this kind of power to SA's then just me. But if the OP wants to spend a grand or more and wait a month for subs, go for it. On top of that, not utilize the full potential of his drivers...... Or he can spend 400 and get them in a couple days. I highly doubt a zcon will be as musical as a SA. Throwing 3k at SA's may take it thermally but not mechanically and vice versa. If he were to put that on those subs and blow them would you pay for his recones? By your logic he should only get Zcons if he has 15k to 20k, right? I guess you dont see the people with 3k or 5k on a pair or even 1200 on a pair with great numbers? With hitting 149.9 for 3 straight minutes, you could be perfect for the 149.9 Bassrace class. Just a thought, might be different from your doing now.

More information would help such as what size subs and how many (Im assuming your referrring to 2-12"s or 1-15"). If your referring to one 15" that might be too much space with that much power for the Zv.3 if not setup properly or ran properly. I cant wait to see some of these answers

i know im working on it lol. its going to be slow process because money is tight as usual. So because your short on money you would rather risk your subs and amp by running at .5 ohms, makes a lot of sense.

I put a strike thru the XST2 on your list. Those are done for. I havent used it but a 4 channel for 75 bucks sounds like a deal if the amp works and you need a 4channel amp at the moment.

Dont set your gain by how many batteries you have, learn how to protect your equipment and install it right before it causes problems. Your gain matches the pre-out voltage of your source (i.e. head unit).

The only advantages I know Class D amps have are smaller footprints, usually dont draw as much current (not running as hot, more efficiency) and some have active/bandpass crossovers. Some say A/B amps sound better but I dot think the average car audio enthusiasts will hear the difference if there really is one.

The 4Runner looks spiffy, cant wait to see what you do with it. Should be fun since you have more cargo space to make incredible videos with.

Pointless thread is pointless, both amps do pretty much similar power for around the same price. Strapped or not you wont hear the difference between the two different brands. Color of amps will likely be your deciding factor.
