  1. I swear I was a part of this or maybe Im just tripping
  2. Sorry, you have showed up late to the party! Yeah ask Kevin S., he tried deleting post one by one and then when he figured out we dont do that here he just moved the whole topic to cover up his actions.
  3. Yeah I guess he deleted it to cover up for him deleting posts, horrible business practices on his end.
  4. When did we start erasing post on this site, thats no bueno at all.
  5. Wish you guys the best of luck, cant wait to see yall start moving out some enclosures on the forum.
  6. honestly I like both But back on topic, I dont see why you cant fit a 15" ported enclosure in there.
  7. Did you do any research on either amp to notice the difference, there are multiple threads around the internet expressing the difference (more mosfets, power/ground terminals and so on). Obviously the new one puts out more power, so that is the main relevant difference but will it be noticeable from the older one. Get which one you can find or afford at the time.
  8. umm no.. thats not how to properly do rear fill. the op doesn't need rear fill, he needs a proper front stage. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Actually you dont, you stated how you want to limit the rear fill to speakers that dont play high pass frequencies. Then you totally go against that statement and suggest a sealed back midrange driver . Dont do any speakers in the rear deck unless you seal off trunk or your just gonna damage those speakers. For now dont waste any money on rear speakers until you set your system up and give it a listen. Like I stated about keep factory speakers in there on radio power and you will be fine. If your set on changing them out then you can get a pair of components for the front and coaxials for the back. Lol. Another clueless post. your absolutely correct buddy, Im gonna go buy me some Goldwoods today. Haha thanks for the negativity
  9. Ive dealt with these type of speakers, sealed back drivers are directional and I doubt the OP will bandpass them to only play a few hertz (that would be a waste). Thats more work and requires an expensive amp or headunit. Regardless rear deck speakers are a waste unless the trunk is sealed off. Why by speakers just to damage them? By the way tweeters are not the only directional speakers that confuse a stage.

  11. Im pretty sure since its in the pictures wired up plus its in his signature as well.
  12. Like said above get a decent pair of components to put in the front doors, amp the components. Dont put any speakers in the rear deck, the subs will drown them out and depending on how your rear deck is made it may damage them. I would just leave the stock 6x9" speakers in the car and if need be phase them out so there not on. Incriminator Audio just came out with some nice components, Aura on parts-express.com has a nice sale on component speakers as well.
  13. Since you say your into SQ, I would try to run the new mids on their own channel (one mid on ch 3 and the other on ch 4). So you still have stereo and see how that sounds. Im pretty sure you will be fine there. But if you still wanna try them bridged on channel 3 and 4 then go ahead but you wont gain that much output and you will lose the stereo. So pretty much just get in there and test and find which suit your needs better.
  14. Background Info: So right now in your possession are two amps, a 2 channel and 4 channel? You have one pair of Crescendo Supertweeters? You plan on making pods for your new mids and Crescendo Supertweeters? Im assuming you have a pair of speakers (what size) in the doors already, if so what speakers? I take it that you want some louder speakers than what you currently have in the doors and if thats the case then it would probably be best to replace those speakers in the door with whatever mids your planning on getting (granted if they can fit or your willing to do some work to your doors). What is your budget on new speakers as well?
  15. Just curious why are you limited to 2 channels on you 4channel amplifier when you have the supertweeters on a 2 channel amplifier? If you wire two 8 ohm drivers together on channel it will create a 4 ohm load, so with your amplifier each speaker will only see 40 watts. You dont want to bridge those two channels and run all your mids that way because you will loose stereo. Thats why I asked above what are the other 2 channels on that arc 4150 powering.
  16. Those look real nice and great news on the amplifier
  17. Or you could try the vynyl wraps or some carbon fiber wrapping, I see some car interior pieces turn out nice from this.
  18. I always wanted to see nice pictures of a 12" Death Penalty, a thing of beauty right there. Those magnets are sweet too
  19. I been there before and tried painting it myself, I would leave it alone unless your gonna get it professionally done. Just my .02 Or go find an Impala at the junkyard with dark pieces and just getting panel by panel.
  20. Same thing I was thinking, what you said along with the radio.
