IA 187, hows the midbass?
No coupon codes or free shipping, gotta pay for it. Music is dynamic plus you gotta factor in amp efficiency so that amp will not be putting out 400 watts all the time or most of the time. Just set your gains right to match the preout voltage of your source (headunit) and you will be fine.

Help On New Speakers!
hmmm interesting, is it bad to put speakers in the rear deck? my rears are in the rear deck and id like to replace the stocks but now im not too sure, whats the reason for this They will get damaged by all that bass in the trunk if you have an average or past average system, unless you build an enclosure for them like vladd stated.

1991 Honda CRX Si
It seems like your leaning more towards DC some, give them a week or two more to respond and if not the go Mechman since you know that you will at least get your alt on time for the upcoming competition.

Its not weird at all, there are a lot of companies that sell batteries that arent to mainstream or popular with everybody. Build is looking good so far, waiting on the next move from ya.

Im sorry to say this but I knew it was gonna come to this eventually, stop pushing the driver so hard since you cant tell signs of distortion.

Ive heard subs up and port to the rear depending if you have enough room between port and back hatch, or port and subs up.

Help On New Speakers!
Im with you, I will always have rears in all my vehicles unless I drive a 2 seater. Its a personal preference and some arent worried about the best sound out there in the world, if he wants rears then help him finding some. Picking speakers will be hard without hearing them honestly, if you liked the RE's you had in the past then I would stick with them since you know how they sound/perform. Just my .02 A good set of speakers in the front is all you need and all you will want. The rear(passengers) will be able to hear the music just fine, a good front stage won't jog any of the sound. If you want to waste money on rear speakers get the prettiest ones. Maybe for you and a lot of others on the forum but not me, it is what it is. I have heard a properly set up Audison Voce 3-way setup up front and still wanted some rears, just my take. They sounded fantastic just not what Im after. If I wanted to win an SQ competition then maybe but some people prefer rears regardless if you say you cant hear them or you say they will mess up the sound. Im not arguing with you just letting you know my opinion versus yours.

Julian's 2011 Mustang
I got talked out of it plus i have no one to help me on a wall. I definitely hear that, i been going back and forth about a wall in my car as well but then I sometimes think Id rather get an SUV and put that same equipment in there without a wall. Well let me stop babbling and turning this into a chat thread.

Julian's 2011 Mustang
I know where you got the trashbag idea from, thats what I plan on doing to secure my batteries to the wheel well. Love those Sundown amps, makes it hard to switch to other companies. I wish I had some seat backs to install my mids/highs amp to in this car, looking good so far. Any room on the other seat for the DD amp to fit?

10" excursion videos with Genisis xbl motor
He didnt say the high xmax of his subwoofer would make it louder than normal, he was using that as a reference or example. The fact the sub utilizes Xbl^2 technology is what makes it louder on lower power compared to a driver of the similar make-up without the Xbl^2 technology.
