  1. I wouldnt suggest either one with that amount of power, instead of making so many threads that get you nowhere. Make one thread describing your goals, budget, expectations, enclosure size and so on to help find what you need. Otherwise all these topics will result in FAIL . Read new topic guidelines before posting again to get better help and answers from your questions. Just because your amp does 1200 watts at 2 ohms does not mean you have to run it at 2 ohms, you can run it at 4 ohms as well (remember that ).
  2. Either one of them can easily over power the sub if you dont know what your doing, I would go with the SAZ-1000D considering they are the same price or get the SAE-1200D and run it at 2 ohms. There is no problem with having headroom, but it can be a bad thing if not used correctly.
  3. If you know how to tell signs of distortion and abuse, can control the volume knob wisely and know how to set your gains accordingly then I dont see why not. Headroom is always a plus, just know when to back off or you will mess up the sub. Also what size enclosure will this sub go in, if you make the box on the small side or smaller then recommend enclosure size then the sub will be able to take more power than rated, just an FYI.
  4. Buy them and do a comparison between the SA-12"s and Type R's so it will help out the forum and other members deciding between the two in the future.
  5. Nice come up , how does the BTL sound in that box? If it holds up I will just keep the box and put the money into something else.
  6. Thanks for the pictures man
  7. Ask questions, that is what we are here for. Even if the question seems stupid or one you should already know, its not so ask away as we are willing to help you step by step if you need it.
  8. Sounds like its time to send it in to get repaired or just use the Ipod from here on out.
  9. Doesnt seem like it, be the first one and give us a review on it. As long as it has the power you need and features you want to run you mids in highs in your application then get it.
  10. This is a personally preference and depends on your musical taste and what you expect from your sub, tuning from 30-35Hz would be a good range.
  11. That depends on what you like and if you have subs or not. If you have subs then i wouldnt suggest putting them in the rear deck speaker location. I would just install one component set in the front doors with some deadening to the doors and then go from there to see if you should add the other set or not.
  12. Does it need it no so stick with rms considering you have to ask this question then be careful or you will be in store for a recone. Totally install and user dependent.
  13. Find you a dealer in your area if you want some hertz speakers.
  14. Either would be a good buy but if your just looking for what may get you the loudest the give us a budget to work with.
  15. For daily I would just get the one amp but for comps then spend the extra 29 dollars and get the two AQ2200D's.
  16. Happy B-Day and enjoy it.

  18. Classic Line "I'd rather F'up school then F'up my car." I like the box and the Cadence is getting down off 300 watts, cant wait to see it with more power.
  19. You should be fine but the only way to tell is to install it and go from there, if you had the cash and wanted to get an HO Alternator in the future it wouldnt hurt neither so its up to you. Get a voltmeter and watch your voltage then go from there.
  20. The difference between an Icon and Xcon will be install dependent, but there is no problem with underpowering a subwoofer so you do have enough power to push an Xcon. Could it use more power than the 1200 watts you have yes, but is it needed no.
  21. How does the 15" compare to the 18" you gave up, are you satisfied? Nice looking box and glad to see things coming together.
  22. A two-tone paint job I actually like, fresh Jaagruti's rims as well. Does he just have the two Powerbass Mids per door or does he have any other speakers? How do you like the powerbass speakers, currently looking to upgrade to some more midrange speakers?
