  1. What do you win for the bet and lose for the bet if you dont mind sharing. Good luck with the bet
  2. Search, there are plenty of videos online and tutorials about the Big Three. THE BIG 3 - SSA Car Audio Forum
  3. What are these many reasons, got me thinking of why I should go back to 2-12"s instead of one 15".
  4. Put that sub in a bigger enclosure if your gonna stick with 5ft^3 then you should of got the 15" instead.
  5. Not really a comparison at all to be honest with you, the SSD's may be your best bet but they are being upgraded at the moment.
  6. Where you using bass boost on amp or head unit? What did your electrical consist off? Need more information buddy.
  7. How much are you willing to spend?
  8. Correct me if I'm wrong but if each amp sees 1 ohm wouldn't that be a nominal .5 ohm load? At least I believe that's the way it was explained to me. Naw it will go up in ohm load, it only goes down when dealing with speakers and wiring in parallel.
  9. Yeah both are getting upgraded.
  10. Talk to FI that would be your best bet, that would of been my first stop since they made it.
  11. Actually with the SSD's yeah they recommend the copper coil for sealed application.
  12. , read at least two times already.
  13. Ok I got you, thanks for the info since I will definitely be getting one when I buy my welding cable from weldingsupply.com
  14. Devin The Dude - Georgy
  15. I dont see why not, I still have a SAZ-2000D brand new along with others there are some out there it will just be a hard search for some thats all.
  16. ^^^^ Im planning on buying one of these soon, can you also lay the terminal in there the other way it still works. Thanks for any info.
  17. Well considering you cant get the SAZ-2000D anymore since the SAZ-2500D is coming out, no you wont hear a difference and you really wont hear one between the SAZ-2000D (if you can get your hands on one) and the American Bass amp but on the meter you will see a difference. Pick whichever fits your install the best and goes with your budget, a comparison thread is useless especially when it boils down between amps. Usually I just flip a coin and the best out of the three wins when it comes down to choosing between two products.
  18. Nice install, all those little things you done made a big difference and never seen fiberglassing done that way but it looks easier. Any tips on that fiberglassing method would be nice if you had some spare time (you can pm me if you dont want to clutter your build log), thanks.
  19. , sorry to hear about the transmission but it always good to have a plan B. That some nice flex you have there
  20. Did you give this a look at? http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/IA-Recommended-Enclosure-Sizing-t28822.html I dont see why that box wont work for either one, what amp will be on this sub?
  21. ^^^^, congrats and I know your happy. I know when it is time to do house work who to ask questions.
  22. Nobody says an amp rated at 1 ohm cant go below 1 ohm, they are not supposed or recommended to. We dont tell people things like that here since in the wrong hands it can cause damage to amp, electrical system, etc. That is just like saying a BL can do more than 1000 watts, yeah it can but is it recommended no (it depends on a lot of things). If your gonna throw information about an amp playing lower than what it can then give reasons on the advantages and disadvantages of doing it. Just cause it is playing fine below its normal ohm load does not mean it will do it forever, I had a Memphis amp that I ran close to a year at .5 ohm and it finally gave way with the proper electrical so no all amps will not survive being ran at .5 ohms for a long time.
  23. You go by the overall ohm load, not what each speakers voice coil rating is. So go by 1 ohm
