  1. Depends on where you are and where they are, you will know in a day or two how long it will be there when it shows up when you view your tracking number. It shouldnt take no more than 4-5 days (nothing that I ordered online took longer than that).
  2. I dont think it is tinsel lead slapping, from the looks of it they look to be tied down or something. Why is your box tuned so high, that is the question?
  3. Any driver put in the recommended enclosure and built well will make any sub sound good. If you want sound quality then you wouldnt be worried about a sub right now you would be worried about your front stage first. Subs arent comparable since they are usually made with a different goal in mind, what one will think is good sound quality may not be to another person.
  4. Well I'm pretty sure that it's a 4 ohm single coil sub.. I havn't taken the sub out of the box to look though. I think the dual 4 ohm version of this sub has a higher mounting depth that wouldn't fit in the enclosure he has it in.. but then again I could be wrong. I'll take a look at it today and see what it is, and if it's a dual 4 ohm then I'll take your advice and wire it in series, and bridge it on the amp. I never heard of that before, when did similar subs voice coil configuration change the mounting depth.
  5. Dont be scared, naw it is too late to turn around and be scared now. We been talking about this for months, no turning back now. Have you decided on wall or no wall yet?
  6. Dude its time to fuck one of her friends or family members.............and make sure she finds out. J I'm not a vengeful person so I wasn't going to say it, but that was along the lines of what I was thinking. With it on tape and mail it to her like in Road Trip but actually let her watch the video .
  7. Sounds like your the dumbass for giving up 2 Treo 15's for a busted RF T2 12... x2 especially for a Rockford Fosgate T2.
  8. Yes it would matter unless the you can find tweeters with the same specs as they one you have now, if that was the case there wouldnt be thousands of crossovers out there if one worked on all the tweeters in the market.
  9. Meade upgraded he no longer has the BTL's, he has own designed subs in his ride now. I see you got your subs to go with your fraternity color, what school are you attending over there in Arkansas.
  10. How is this setup treating you, from my understanding it is not good to have sub and port firing in opposite directions.
  11. I love Cadillac's, nice looking Deville man.
  12. You still are not reading, there are a few post that answer this question already in the topic. Perform better wont be heard by ear, so it is useless. Yes it will increase db and or bass but it wont be noticeable to ear or worth the extra money in the price you paid for the amp and even the extra money you have to dish out to power a 3000 watt amp compared to a 2000 watt one.
  13. No shit I understand that but if he wants to run close to 3000 watts to one sub when he upgrades im pretty sure he wants to run more than 1500 watts to each one, that is if he wants to upgrade.
  14. Mu ex girlfriend is my room mate. Have you tried to get out of the lease? She's moving out next month This is what you will be doing for this first week after she has left
  15. Actually he wont be able to add another sub to this setup unless he runs it at 0.5 ohms, his subwoofer is D1 ohm yea but its a 2 channel amp, so u can bridge it together for 3000 rms at 2 ohms or u can run each channel at 2 ohm for about 1300 watts per channel. Yeah I know that but you see he already wants to run 3000watts to one sub so that wouldnt be an upgrade if he got two subs.
  16. Sounds like earsex to me, cant wait for it to get started.
  17. Actually he wont be able to add another sub to this setup unless he runs it at 0.5 ohms, his subwoofer is D1 ohm
  18. Im tuned in to this one What all was in the old setup and did you do any metering?
  19. It will help you from asking a question to where there are multiple answers on this forum already for that question, why have 30 pages with the same information on it or 30 different topics asking the same question with the same results.
  20. could u please explain to me why to go with the 3000d rather than the 2000d ? thank u my friend... Because the 2000D only does 1000rms at 2 ohms and the 3000D does 1500rms at 2 ohms I believe.
  21. well yes ive already figured that part out , but if u see my original question, i need to know what amps i should be looking at,.. i was looking at the audiopipe 3000watt rms, hifonics brutus 2600, power acoustiks bamf 5000,.. I personally would only look at the Audiopipe or Audioque amps if you dont want to go the Sundown route, the other two amplifiers are even worth dishing out money for.
  22. Yes it equals more db's and more bass that you WONT NOTICE (have you been reading anything that was posted), it wont be noticeable to your ear or anyone else's ear. It will barely be noticeable to the TL Meter and since you havent made a comment about competiting it wouldnt help in your case period. The more rms means the more money for batteries, then yes you will need an HO alternator and so on so if you dont have the money for all these upgrades then your wasting money and time buying a big ass amp. Get two SAZ-1000D, strap them together and call it a day or a SAZ-3000D and run it at 2 ohms.
  23. Get an amp that is capable of 1500 rms or more (if you want head room) at 2 ohms to power your Nightshade perfectly.
  24. yes im mr noob to car audio thank u for noticing. I was told by like 3 guys that the nightshade can handle and take WAY more than 1500 rms,. 2 guys tell me they give it 3000rms + and it still asks for more,. If you know what your doing, in the right enclosure and under the right circumstances and if you dont know what your doing then you wont have a sub for too long. It is not how much power that it can take but how much does it need, it only needs 1500 rms what it was recommended for by the manufacturer. If competiting then that is another story, 2000 rms wont be different or noticeable then 1500 rms. Stop listening to people thinking what they do you can do.
  25. Some are too lazy to, research goes along way and will get you a lot farther in life.
