  1. What coil configuration do your subs have?
  2. Here check this link out below and talk to this dude, one of the individuals on this site who currently has the subs. I have heard good setups with PPI equipment, there amps and speakers. Almost any sub put in the right enclosure and if you go ported tuned to your listening preference then your subs will sound good. 3. Congrats on your equipment and dont forget pictures of the install.
  4. I really think it boils down to personal preference, if you can find both in there respected enclosures and give them a listen then they will help you make a better decision if these are the two subs you have your eye on.
  5. That is really going to come down to user error more than company error since subwoofers play what you tell them to.
  6. Yes wire it in series to 2 ohms.
  7. How can you say if someone would be happier with something over another if you've no experience with the other product? i have a buddy who has 2 12" ppi pcx's in his extended cab 1500 and they dont sound very good at all...to me they were sloppy sounding. it could have been the install but according to him the box was built to the recommended specs, and it was all installed by a shop locally. Being built buy a local shop means nothing and built to recommended specs means nothing since most recommended specs arent good for optimal boxes especially in the mainstream world.
  8. I have heard of the company but never heard any in person before. It sounds like they are working it out for you and your getting a deal so why not, in car audio you wont know till you buy and try.
  9. thats actually a ground wire So there is a little wire that is part of the klarity rcas that is a ground? I didn't see that on the pics, and I've never seen an rca with the normal plugs and then an extra wire poking out... Is this cable a hermaphrodite? lol Seriously though, I'm confused on what you guys are saying. Its not an extra wire poking out, it is a wire in between the two RCA's that stops about 2 or three inches from the ends of the rca's.
  10. x2, and will there be any other amps in the install?
  11. I like Kicker subs, if I were to buy mainstream I would buy Kicker (used CVR's and CVX's in the past and loved them).
  12. Hopefully you will be running it at two ohms, and too many factors to tell you especially with the amount of information you gave us. Just go buy both and come back to us and let us know which one did better.
  13. Its never good to put an uncharged battery on an alternator from my understanding.
  14. Perhaps this is why the 1/0 welding cable I have in my car cost more than the KLMX does per foot... (the knukonceptz is going in a friend's ride) More questions: Planning on keeping car for 4-5 more years; KLMX and save or Kolossus? RCA questions; Klarity, Karma, or Krystal? Can we save some $$$ with the Klarity without sacrificing something important or is the Karma or Krystal a better bet? It is only a few bucks, so not a big deal, but spending without necessity is dumb. I got the Klarity Kables and love, three pairs and a pair of y-adapters (cant get no better for the price). These cables are good quality, have a good feel to them, there sturdy and work well.

  18. Mark said the website should be available within the next week or two if you need to order products, just send him emails at the email address if you have questions only until site is up.
  19. That may be a problem or something else is causing interference with the signal in the vehicle. I would try another single din headunit and if works then try and troubleshoot what could be interfering with the signal or causing the noise. That is real weird.
  20. Appreciate ya dem beats
  21. Some of them on here dont understand the correlation at all.
  22. I was -5, wasnt born till today in 1985
  23. Yeah if not used right it will make the amp clip and eventually ruin the subs if pushed to hard. I recommend you dont use it and your subs will sound better if you set your amp right and dont use it.
  24. Yeah your not the only one, the same has been happening to me for almost two weeks now.
  25. Either you had bass boost on (either on your head unit or amp or both which is a no-no), you had the loudness feature on your radio on, your gains are set to high on your amp, you probably turned the volume knob to high which in turn made the amp stop clipping among other things.
