Port Length for Nightshade 18"
Watch how low you tune that box and how much power you give it, you might want to talk to Jacob about that one before you damage your nightshade.
-
extra battery
deka, xs power and kinetiks are all good batteries and you cant go wrong with either one.

Nightshade or SXX?

Port Length for Nightshade 18"
Well if you would of did a little research before buying a subwoofer, then you would now a FI Q is an SQ sub while a Sundown Nightshade is a SPL sub so lows wont be near the same (not saying lows cant be put out by a nightshade but not its specialty). The 18 should be between 5 -6 ft^3 after all displacements, but personally I dont think you will grab the same lows with that Nightshade that you do with the Q.

Your input on my component system
The only input I can put in on this thread is, if you dont have the room for 2-12" ported in the right enclosure then dont do it (too small of a box will choke your subs). Whenever you do look into subs, there are some companies like Sundown who make subs to do well in smaller than normal size boxes, for instance there SA-12"s can be tossed in 3.5ft^3 enclosure after displacements (port, bracing and subs). To get the most out of your subs put them in the right amount of space and you will slam, just my .02

94 Acura Legend Build
Maan now you got me thinking of getting a totalled car and fixing it up but I dont have the body work experience to do this (very impressive man, I gotta give you that on bringing the car back to life) . Good equipment you have there, and even better equipment being added.

Welcome to the IHoP
Yes, and it's still a thread. So get real. So what are you really trying to accomplish besides showing how young you are? I find you to be hilarious, having a temper tantrum on a forum and letting people get your emotions (thats a females trait).

Every single comment he has made shows his level of immaturity, one of his status updates was "I was told that a FI SSD doesnt even compare to a Rockford Fosgate P1".- Welcome to the IHoP
- amp turns on, but will go into protect mode
Why even make a loser remark like that, who cares what happens but if your not giving good advice your not helping anyone (Im glad you wanna be tough over the internet, shows how cool you are).- amp turns on, but will go into protect mode
x2- old btl vs new ?
Lets get this back on topic, so OP what have you decided to do (buy old if you can find one or buy new)?- hey
Well glad you could join us and cant wait for a build log to begin with the new wall.- old btl vs new ?
Im pretty sure its a multitude of amps, I doubt they have amps that do that much power by themselves.- chop's build log
What is it tuned to now, since you have heard two of your friend setups, one with Xcon and one with Nightshade (which do you prefer, reviews on both if you dont mind since those may be my future subs). I also see you went from multiple 12"s to a 15" now, what can you say about that (all I ever had were 12"s and a couple of 10''s before but 9 out of my 10 subs were 12"s and havent went any bigger). Thanks for any input.- Refurbs?
I havent bought an amp from him but I was going to send one of my amps in when I thought it was damaged, he told me how he does and he shows on his website how he takes out all old pieces and repair them with new ones (even some pieces that dont need to be repaired). He takes his time and does it right instead of shortcuts like most companies will and he shows how he fixes what they did wrong and what they should of done. A+++++ work in my eyes. - Welcome to the IHoP
