I've just pulled the trigger for 2 saz 1000D and a tee shirt!!! I hope to get them by the end of next week. I am waiting for UPS tracking numbers now.

They are super fast ! They design the box in a way you can do it : he ask for your skills, tour tools, your tastes,................everything!!!!!!!!! I bought a design from them for a friend's Xcon : he is sooooo happy with the box !!! We don't know if it's the sub or the box but it is fantastic!!!!

I received my Icon with USPS. The wait is just longer, but that's all ! When the amp leaves the USA, you have no more tracking : it arrives like a surprise!!!!!!!!!! I don't want any other amplifier in my car ; I am confident. And my good friend, the Xcon owner, saw so much Sundown amps on SSA, he absolutely wanted one for his sub !!! Hope he will be happy with them!! He has now a good italian amp ( Impact car audio 2800 w) he will sell easily!

ok for the 2 saz 1000 strapped. My friend will go with that for its Xcon 15. That should make the sub hit even more!!!!!!!! I am just waiting for the UPS shipping costs from Aaron at SSA. Don't send them by USPS : it's too long, and when you pay for UPS you really don't want USPS! See what I mean ??!!

Just one 15' SSA Xcon will make you forget your 3 CVX so quick !!! Give him the good box and be careful with the gain. You will not regret it. I heared one with "only" 1000-1200 watts rms and they pound so hard : it's insane !!!!!!!!!!!!!

x 2 You could build a custom ported box to let the subs express themselves totally !! I learn from experience, that the box is very very very important for the sound of your subs. These Kicker can handle 750 watts rms each, so you could try a 1500 watts amp (like the Sundown saz 1500 d). The first step would be the box. just my 02cts!

Hello, One of my friend wants something to power his Xcon (in a 3.5ft3 net ported box). He wanted a Sundown 3500 D, but there are some really good deals on some 3000's. Do you think a used(from Sundown) or a refurb(from Db-r) 3000 can give the sub all the power it needs ? I think the 3500 is "better", but more expensive too ! How can they be compared ? AT 2 OHMS ONLY !!! BTW what to you think about used or refurbished amplifier ? I live in a Hot island (30° C all year long) so the ampp must be reliable. I would not like to send any amp back to the USA, shipping is about 200$ !!!

Hello, One of my friend has a 15' Xcon sub and he is willing to buy a Sundown 3500 D to play it at 2 ohms. He has a JBL px 600.4 at 2 ohms for all his speakers. Everything is (will be) playing on an old Optima yellow and a stock 105 amp alternator. He wants to upgrade his electrical system : he's installing 0 ga power and ground everywhere and he has planned to do the big3. We have a local dealer of XS and Kinetic. He knows that his optima is finally quite dead, so he will replace it. What should he do ? He would like to play his system a little bit with the engine off for demonstration. But this is not a must have ! I am waiting for advices. He will get his car back from paint this week, and will start all over his system.

I have not replaced the factory battery. I have enough power to play with engine on. I just want to run a secondary battery to play my system with the engine off for a few moment. I don't need to play like that for hours long, let's say for 30 to 60 minutes "only" ! That is why I thought a secondary battery would be good. But I am afraid of the alternator power : would it be able to reload a rear battery ? I will use an isolator to protect my primary battery when the car is off.

No sub at all? even a small one? Talk to your Dad !!! or buy one yourself instead of rear speakers. You can run a sub with just 2 of the 4 channels of your amp (200 watts or more is enough for a good little sub).

You're so lucky !!! I am still waiting for mine. I think I might get it in about 10-15 days. (a month long with USPS instead of 5 days with UPS)
