You have 2 sets of 6.5 comps for 4500 watts on 4 18's??? Those must be killer comp sets!!! Lol I'd love to have a wall of sub like that behind me !!!

Wow You will need 6 channels to amplify each speakers. Lots of tuning to come!!! And another amp for the sub. It will be a big and nice setup. Good luck.

I think this amp has a bandpass filter option. You can play active with it. I recently read that you can't easily go active with a component set. You need to buy mid speakers And tweeters and tune it. It may be easier to play passive with a 2 channel amp and a good set of comps. Just my 2cts!

You could look at something else, while you're here ! SSA, Fi, Incriminator, Ascendant, ...and many more good ones : the choice is yours!!! I've never heared MTX subs, but I had several Kicker L7 15" : never liked them. Now, I'm truly happy with my Ssa Icon.

I've never heared the Xcon, but I will do it soon, soon!! The 15 Xcon combo must be really good for a "groundpounder". But I can say that the 15 Icon in a 4 ft3 ported box with a Sundown 1000 amp is a very good deal: I love it in my car:) I will not win SPL comps (who knows?!!!), but it sounds sooooo good, and it "pounds" too !!! If you have the budget and the electrical system, why not try the Xcon? Good luck!

I got my amp for several days now, and this little monster makes my 15 Icon sound soooo good! I was hoping so, but it is really great! Now I am waiting for an Xcon15 for a friend. How long will it take? Don't know. Still no news about it! Waiting, waiting...I am just a little anxious, but confident in SSA.

I love this answer, as I live in a hot island in the Caribbeans!!! It makes me feel more confident about my saz 1000D ; it's'my first Sundown amp and nobody knows this brand around here. :)

My knob lights up in a powerful blue, like the little light on the amp. I tried to set the gain on the amp, then I plugged in the remote at the maximum; so, I can have less bass, but not more!!! I think it's'a good way to use the knob.

That will shake a car hard. Big enough for 2 15s ?

It seems that you're making a big system soon!I only run one 1000D and it pounds!!! The saz1000D is a little monster, the 2000 must be insane!!!

I have just installed my saz1000D : wow !!! I had a JL A1800D (650 watts at 4 ohms), and now the Sundown at 1 ohm. I was not expecting such a big change in output!!! It's'another world !! Couldn't be happier Now my Icon 15 is playing loud, low, and always sooo clean. But I wonder what to do with the remote provided : is it for the gain? Is it for bass boost? How to use it? Please, let me know.

I have just received my saz 1000 D today! Instal time tomorrow afternoon : I will let you know how I like it !!!

I finally received my saz1000 today:). Only 5 days for UPS to deliver : fantastic!!! I will instal it as soon as possible. I'm waiting to pay for a 15 Xcon now : paypal ready !

My amp has arrived! According to the UPS tracking info. 5 days : that is a very fast delivery.( The Atlantic ocean was crossed twice!!) I hope to get it tomorrow. Thanks:)
