I watched the package pic on my personnal laptop and I could easily see that the basket was in it ! On my office pc it was not possible to see that, and the screen is a 19" one, 16/9 : I thought it was good. but on my macbook it was obvious : eveything could be seen in the pic ! The retina screen (in 13") must be better Delivery this afternoon or tomorrow

I would have kept the D2 subs, and used two 2K amps on them. The day you'll want to sell something, you would ahve 2 combos of one D2 sub and a 2K amp. The IA amps look badass ! I'll get one in a few minutes to take advantage of the B&B sale For 2 D1 subs and $700 it may be hard to find something new. Mmats, Crescendo, used Sundown,...

No matter if they are component sets or not, tell us which one were they and what did you like (or not) about them. You will be able to receive good help from the members, here Alpine, Pioneer, JL : all are good and reputable brands !

Fi makes great products : the btl N2 is one of the best subs I've tried and tested. Buuuuuut the customer service was horrific. I've waited for months sometimes. (one order was built 5 months after payments !!!). I live in a foreign country, it is different. Now I can use a US address and it is much easier. Good choice on the amp, I hope so. I will be ordering mine in a moment (one 20.1). I run Sundown amps for a few years with absolutely no problem, I only want to try something new in my country. SSA is great : wonderful products, customer service is amazing. They answer back so quick, I don't even want to ask too much questions because they answer to all of them. Do those guys sleep ?!!!!!! The Icon on a IA 10.1 : that should be a fantastic combo

The JBL 660 may be easy to listen to : I think you can find them quite anywhere. I know they are loud and clear. Lots of people here seem to like the IA comp set available on the store. Personnally, I love Focal ! (I'm French in a French country, so this brand is available easily.) Bassink is right : go to your local shops and make some listening sessions, and come back here to tell us your results ! Some will be able to help you when they know what you like or not.

Considering their coming from the same place im sure Fi does the same thing. OP did you check the weight of the package, that alone should let you know If a basket is in the package along with the recone. Good idea...but no weight is written . I can't have this info on their site, and the billing info are not accurate (good for our local custom taxes though). I've never had any (big) delivery problem with SSA, and Fi (they ship fast , as soon as the product is made...) Hopefully they use Fedex, so it should be fast. I will try them again for my next purchase at SSA : soon to be a new amp for my sub (IA 20.1) !

Hi, I recently ordered a recone kit with a 15" basket for a btl n2. I saw, on bongo International (the shipper to my country) that there is only one package. I wonder if the basket is in the package. I could not see it on the pics provided. My sub is a 12" and I want to recone to a 15". I've ordered the good size for the recone. I hope it will come complete.

You could keep the Focal set and recone your sub to a 12" or a 10", or even run it in a sealed box.

OP, you're in good hands ! I set my gain by ears and then I plugg in the remote gain (at max). So this remote can only be used to turn down the gain, it won't go higher than what it was set to. I have no bass boost, LPF is widely opened on the amp, as I only use the head unit LPF (at 80 Hz). You have good equipments and a good install from what I've read Good luck

agree 100 % Get a bigger bass amp, and run it at 2 Ohms : you'll have more power later when you change subs or recone them to D1 each. You have a nice car, sir !

I bought some recone from them, and from PAP for SS XXX subs (15" and 18"). They deliver fast, for sure, but I can't say their products are the best of the world, like I've heared ! some of my friends don't want to use them at all, now. But those friends are not really taking care of their equipments, so I can't really judge. I needed a recone kit for a DD sub recently, I did not try any of those PAP or PSI. I contacted DD directly and made the deal from an official dealer. DD put me in contact witht the nearest dealer. If I had to buy a recone for a Fi or an SSA sub, I would always get a manufacturer recone first. I'm currently waiting for a Fi btl N2 rcone and basket : original from Fi. Nothing else !

Hello, I want to take advantage of the IA sale, but I don't know how long does it take to receive items with Bongo. Who has ever use them ? I tried them for a Fi recone but I'm still waiting for their shipping quote. They have just received my package from Fi. I have no problem for a kit, but an amplifier is heavier and fragile ! I'd like some feedback on Bongo, from ssa customers. I loved it when they were using Fedex, by plane: safe and fast. It's frustrating for foreign customers. But this sale seems to be available only on the ssa store, so, I have no choice...

When it's well done, a ported box can sound really good. It's a matter of design. Try your current sub in a ported box and then you'll see. The X seems to be a very good product. I'd love to test it once.

That is a serious classic...truck. I love it. Don't do too much custom work on it. It looks like it should be kept simple ! Except a rim change So much sub for this old car ? Nooooo ! Use one or 2 subs, that should be enough on a good 4 ch amp.

This doesn't support our international distributors. Customers also recieve no national warranty as a result of grey importing. I.e. you will need to take it back to base should problem arise, where you could have just purchased via local distributor. I did not know there was a distributor in the Netherlands. I was talking about the way they ship internationally on the SSA store. I have no interest in any way with them !!!

You're all so lucky with those super short waiting times. . . . . . . Maybe it's longer for recone kits, I don't know.

Just register on Bongo International and order your sub from the Fi website using the US address they'll give you on the Bongo site. Or contact your local rep.

IDMAX are still available ? Sure ? Sundown and SSA,both make great products, and have great customer service. I don't really like 8" subs But you should try to compare subs wih the same dimensions. From all of those subs, I've only tried the SSA Icon, and I found it amazing. 2 8" subs(ported) won't take less room than a single 10" ported. I might be wrong...I've never tried setups like that.
