You have an 8 ga kit ? I think it would be much better to run a 0 ga wire for power from battery to the trunk, and for your grounds. I like your mids & highs amp : this Boss amp looks so nice ! Tell us what you think about the Bravox set when you ready. What other speakers have you already use, to compare. I would have forget the rear speakers, and bridged the Boss amp to the comp set : it doesn't need all the power, so the amp will play without getting hot, for hours. With such a big box, a 1500 watts amp must be enough for you. On a budget ? Try db-r.com, or look at Clarion or Audiopipe, they're cheap on ebay and everywhere. Good luck. Do it right, one time ! Get a more powerful amp for your fantastic sub. You can find a lot of 1000 watts amps with your budget, on the market. Some brand new, some used or refurbished. Good luck

2 saz 4500 and you will be good to go ! This would be my choice. You can link them and use only one remote, or run them separately and use a remote splitter (phone accessory). I set my amp by ear, so gain matching would be harder with 4 amps, for me. Good luck

If you can't listen to any component set, get a good Bravox set at the ssa store. These seem to sound good, even if I've never heared them ! They have great reviews, and are not expensive. Just buy a 2 channel amp for the comp set : 2 x 100 or 150 watts rms at 4 ohms. You need to install them properly to fully enjoy them! Good luck.

There are free designs and cut sheets somewhere in the Fi sub forums. Take a look. But they are sub up port up. A design will cost you around $20.

Nobody ? Was looking at the sundown subs : Z and Nightshade. Too much choice !!! If I can't find any more opinions, I will get the Btl N2, and that's it.

My budget is 400-450 $ for the sub. I know I will have about 250 for shipping , plus custom taxes. I don't think the Warden will fit in the budget. Did not want to play the smart guy, I thought I said enough. I am not a little kid no more ! I hope I told you all enough to give me a good advice. If not, just ask.

I don't know what size alt I have, but my car has a diesel engine, so the alt is strong. I have described(told) how my alt works to one of the guys at dc (or xs, I don't remember) and he toild me that it was working fine. I check my voltmeter very often when playing. If I play at full tilt some heavy bass rap song, I may drop 0.1 volts. I don't play for hours for the city ! The fact IS that I am selling the xcon for big cash. I must take advantage of that !I NEED a new woofer. What can you say Jay-C ? Believe me or not, my electrical is strong enough : 13.6 volt with or without music. When I bought the car, brand new, it was the same! I think the batt is a 75 a one. No one wants to help ?

My electrical is good enough. No voltage drops at all with my stock alt and my big stock battery. I did the big 3 in 0 gauge. I have a run of 0 ga coming from my battery to the trunk. My voltage is the same with or without the system running ! My box is tuned to 32 hz with 2 psp aeroports(4") like I have in my sig. If you want a picture, look at my avatar. What can I tell you more ? No children, not married yet !!! I know the btl is a new model, but it can't be worst than the old one. Hi, I will sell my Xcon this week. I have a wonderful deal, so I must sell it !!! I love the Xcon, but want to try something else. If I could fit (2) 12" , I would get (2) Xcons. Now, I want a 12" Fi Btl N2 to put in my 3.2 ft3 ported enclosure. I like it because of the "reduced" weight. I want to be louder than now, but still clean ! I listen to reggae and rap mostly. I thought about those 12"subs : Fi Btl N2, AA Mayhem, DC level 4 xl,... But what is your opinion ? What would you choose ? In the future, I will try a more powerful amp (2500 watts), and I will build a smaller box for the 12". I need room in the trunk to fit a battery and some groceries eventually ! Waiting for your inputs.

I trust them, at Fi ! They would not have changed their flagship sub if it was for worst ! My problem now, is to find out what options I need on the sub !! D2 for sure, but what else ? I'll look around for some informations. I am really confident in this product, but I have no review to read. I'll post a little one. But I will sell my sub next week, so I hope to receive the sub before Christmas.

I have some topics in the ssa forum: "from icon to xcon", "from ported to dealed",...etc I had Kicker L7 S15 in several sealed boxes, Impact 67 series 15", several Pioneer subs, heared Alpine type X, and many more... 0.5 v for my amp ? No, thanks ! And I don't wan to run 2 subs : too expensive for me (even if I know the Xl's are not really expensive), too heavy, and I don't want to run DC subs. I live in a foreign island, so shipping is hot !!! I only want shipping from UPS or Fedex, one week max. USPS is cheaper but you have to wait one month !!!!
