  1. usually, you don't hear the rear speakers if you have a good frontstage. I took my rear speakers off, they were nice coax (Davis Acoustics), and I can't say it's a bad thing. I use the same 4 ch amp, so I bridged it and have more power for the front component set. If you want to make a lot of demos with doors open, you may need rear speakers to be louder outside of the car. But as a driver, you don't want to listen to your music from the back of the car, only from the front, like in a home audio system, or at a live concert. It's up to you !
  2. Alarm, dark window tint (darker for the rear windows and the rear windshield), and you're good to go !!! Don't blast in your own neighborhood. Your local thieves will find your car when they need it ! Good luck Oh : Be careful with that gun ! You, Americans love guns !!!
  3. Get a BL if the BTL is too expensive for you. Or buy used. You can find great deals on used equipments. Or save some more money !!!
  4. Boob trick ! Oooooh Yeaaaaah she has some....!!! Insane bass by the way !!!:fing34:
  5. Your box seems a little small. Did you add some polyfill in ? It would be much better.
  6. $50 (or 50%) more for a warranty on speakers. That's a lot !
  7. The new Sundown saz 1500 would be nice too. I don't remember if it is still on pre sale for a super great price on the ssa store. Or the Stetsom 1K5 : small and powerful.
  8. The missing link?! Nice move SSA ! People are so jealous of your drivers, here in Martinique ! You can't imagine !!! We, SSA subs owners, have to deal with it,...problems if we try to compete in the "show cars" events !!!!!
  9. ok for the short sleeves ! I need one in 3xl ! Send me an invoice so I can Paypal you something.
  10. Just my opinion : a single SA 12" ported or Fi ssd 12" ported too.
  11. Ok I want to try one shirt. PM me for shipping costs to Martinique please; as I'm not in the 48 at all !!!!!!!
  12. I saw Will's t-shirt has long sleeves, so ? Short or long, I don't really mind. But with the sun & temperatures we have here, maybe a short sleeve shirt can be better. Black attracts the heat !!!! I might buy 2 or 3 , but t-shirts would be a great idea. Tell us what material is used, cotton 100 % ? I could not understand everything in the video. It's harder to understand when it's not written, for "non english speaking" people !!! Sorry !
  13. You seem to be in very good and helpful hands. I love this forum !!!!!!!!!
  14. The newest BTL's ? Already ? I thought they were not in 18" yet. With all that equipment, all that power, you'd better know what you're doing !!!
  15. Take a look at 12volt.com or something like that. surface of a circle : pi * r^2 volume of a round tube : pi * r^2 * length I don't know how to say it in English, but r = half of the diameter. correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Niiiiice !!! Waiting for wednesday !!! Your truck will be really cool with new rims !
  17. :puzzled: I can't see the pics of your install and the box. I can see everything on your topic, but not these ones ! I don't know why, it's just written "posted image" ! But, nice choice of equipment. I don't like pro audio speakers in car, but maybe it's because I've never heared them well installed with good settings ?!!!
  18. And for Toyotas ? I want to add an XS battery, but I'm afraid my alternator will not charge above its stock voltage. (There is an XS dealer locally for me)
  19. Hope you're happy with it DURAN ! congratulations !!!:fing34:
  20. Alternator whine? with a Pioneer ? I had the same problem with my h u !!! You must have touched something when you should not. It looks like a pico fuse blown. Goggle it, you'll find dozens of topics about that. 3 solutions : 1) get some speaker wire to ground all th rca's output from your amp. Ground them to a solid point behing the h u. 2) open the h u and solder some wire to bypass the blown internal pico fuse. 3) change the blown fuse. I tried the first solution and was happy with it, but after some times I wanted to get rid of all the noise. So I found an electronics guy who knew that problem, and he replaced the fuse by some kind of low inductance wire (don't know if it is really that !!!), because I did not find a replacement fuse. and now I'm really happy !!! Never touch the rca's or whatever, with the h u ON. Pioneer h u don't like that. Turn off everything if you want to move wire or rca's. Good luck !
  21. She gets a free box design and some advices with his first post, and she says that is no help ?!!! But
  22. Try a 1500 watts amp, at 1 ohm. Do the big 3 in 0 ga. Check your voltage. And then add a second battery if you feel the need. A Sundown 1500 at 4 ohms?!!! Wow, that would be super safe, but not too powerful!
  23. You can buy a good used sub with a box for that money. Used Sundown Z on that amp : fantastic setup ! Get a DVC 2 sub, run your amp at 1 ohm with the gain set low until you upgrade your electrical : 0 gauge wire and big3, batts,... Good luck.
  24. Get that amp ! I'd love to, it's a VERY good deal. Then you can get the 2nd sub or the batt. It's up to you. Just watch your voltage and be smart !!! :morepower1:
