The Boss audio would be NICE bridge on a set of good component speakers. Get a Bravox set here, your Focals are nice but, they're entry level Focals (too expensive for what they can do). what did you choose finally ?

I don't know how you can stand so much bass in a car !!! Last week end I had to jump of a little RENAULT CLIO !! It had 2 15" xcon's pounding so hard, I felt bad!!! I'm used to this car, but it was the first time the electrical was really good (14.4 v at high volume). The box is tuned to 30 hz, and the lows was ...fantastic ! The pressure was insane, inhuman !!!!!!!!!!!!! good luck with yout 4 15"s. :popcorn:I'm waiting for the pictures AND the review !

You need to upgrade your electrical system for the amp, not for the subs. 2000 watts ? The bl is rated at 1000 watts rms. Get a Bl with DVC2 and a 1000 watts (at 1 ohm) amp for it. That's enough ! There is a great deal on the Sundown sax 1200 these days. Don't miss it ! For 1000 watts, just do the big3 in 0 ga. and use 0 ga for power wire from batt to amp.

$400-$500 on an amp? You could get a Sundown 2500 (pre order) if you're not in a hurry. 1500 should be enough for 2 Fi Q. Try to change them for DVC 1, so that you can use them at 1 ohm on an amp.

Forget the rear speakers , that will help you to buy a better set of front speakers. These focals are nice, but you can have a better st with more money ! Be sure to install them right (deadening, sealing holes in the door, good mounting ring,...). I would get the Sundown, but I'm biaised. I already use 2 Sundown amps, and I'm happy with them ! The Focal's will accept / like any amp at 4 ohms : Sundown, Stetsom on the ssa store of course. You may find cheaper ones, and they will work too !

0 ga would be better, if you have another amp for your speakers, or if you want to upgrade later. (You WILL want more sooner or later !!!) Nice choice on your equipments. But it should work with 4 ga, I think so.

Next time, you'll know what to do ! I did not understand what happened, hope you did !!! When you talked about settings, was is only gain settings ? So, the gain turned down under too much bass pressure ! Damn !

Hello, Today I found a new way to receive items from USA. A company in Miami and here, can send anything to us by boat. There is a boat each week, and it is not too expensive. Is it possible for me, to order and pay as usual but to have a Miami delivery adress. This company is used to do that, but I don't know if SSA accept it. Some comanies can't deliver to an adress different from the buyer's credit card. that would be a cheaper way for me to order from you. Thanks for your answer.

It's a private seller, and I think he just makes the orders for people who don't know how to do. He posted a price for Havoc subs...Damn...it's hot expensive !!! Did you upgrade the grounds ? for the amp and for the battery ?

You want to use one 2200 watts amp to each BL. That's a lot of power if it's at 1 ohm. BL's are rated for 1000 watts rms, aren't they ? One AQ 2200 seems to be enough for a pair of BL's.
