  1. For a nice 2 way you could look in to the mli65.
  2. it's prolly your DMM. If your coils were shot it would read crazy numbers. What is the problem with the sub?
  3. Pics of the girl would help get you more replies. lol Nice start bro.
  4. Midbass from a 4" driver is not going to happen. Think bigger.
  5. Gremlins. Start at the battery and work you way back to the subs checking every wire and connection. Could be a ground, speaker wire, rca cable, etc. Been there a time or two myself. Good luck bro.
  6. I know back in my day they had some very nice ones, but I lost track over the years.
  7. Turn the gain up a good bit just to see if you get more volume. Process of elimination at this point. Double check everything.
  8. Sure do. Been up that way a few times. Wish we had some of that cooler air down this way. lol
  9. Order your wire from weldingsupply.com. It's nice and the price is good. 9cf would be plenty, but remember you need to subtract port and sub displacement from that. Where in SC are you? I am in Florence.
  10. Love the amp rack. Very clean install.
  11. What vehicle?
  12. Damn Sir-Lancelot when did you trade in the Yukon! My bike is only for shows. It's a trailer queen.
  13. Helps with port noise and it just looks badass.
  14. Low pass depends on your front mids and how low they can play. Usually 80 is a good starting point but the lower the better. If your fronts can play to 60 even better. You just have to tune it bro. Set it up where it sounds best.
  15. I believe that amp is 1500 x 2 at 1ohm or 3000 x 1 at 2ohm. Not 100% on that but that's what I recall.
  16. I would buy a pair for the wife car if so. Don't remember reading where they are in the works tho.
  17. Yes you can. You can also cut some dowl rods or 3" wife mdf and glue them top to bottom and front to back inside your box. Tie all 4 sides together.
  18. Yeah, I dont understand why they need the woofer. All the info is listed in the shop for them. That sounds like a bunch of bullshit to me. You are in LA, why dont you hit up Quentin at Audible Customs for a box. He does not need the sub to build the box. lol Edit to add Argent has been pounding out some nice ones too. Hit them up.
  19. Unless you can give the maximum dimensions you have in your truck, it is impossible to tell you what you are asking. Yes, port length is what tunes your enclosure, but the port also takes up box volume. There is no set length that = 31hz. That is enclosure dependent. Time to get out your tape and go measure bro. That is the only way anyone can help.
  20. just put up all the box dimensions and what sub/subs. Slot port/round port? It's okay to give too much info. lol
  21. Need more info bro
  22. I would go with one 15 for the sub. It will look cool, but not sure how 10's and the 15 will work together.
