Adding another battery will help. Not as effective as a HO alt, but it does help.

it is what it says, a level control. It is not a bass boost as they boost 40hz, The level control is a volume control for the sub level. Set it to the highest level and then set your gains. This allows you to blend the subs with your front. level 15 to show off level 5 or so to ride around and chill. Just make sure to set gains with it on full tilt.
