It will work, but you have to make sure it's VERY strong. Making pods for smaller speakers is one thing, but a large sub with lots of power is a different monster. No air bubbles, lots and lots of layers, and even rope in between the fibergalss. Yes, people use MDF because it's easier and MDF is better if glassing is not done correctly. Is there a reason you want to glass? You can shape your box with MDF and make a beauty panel. Heck even make a beauty panel out of glass if you want. Are you trying to fit to a certain shape in your car for stealth?

There looks like spots where there is too much resin and others that look like it has none. The sanding and finishing will be a big pain in the ass so you want them as close as possible before you start on finishing them. I don't see how you are going to attach them. Do you have some more pics of the process you used to get to this point. I am far from an expert, but I am happy to help if I can.

Looks ok on paper, but really no one can say it is for a fact. You will have some drop, zero drop is asking as bit much. You will just have to try it and keep an eye on the voltage. I will be running XS for my next batteries.

make sure the batteries are good in your dmm. Maybe touch the two leads together and zero it out too. They should both be 1.7 if not a problem could be developing. What made you want to check it? Does it sound different?

I have seen pics of the mini body horns installed in these type trucks like ours. There are some pics on the ID forum. Not sure how the mini body will work vs a full body, but just throwing it out there for you. I have read that in a truck you actually don't want to install them as wide like in a car. It was said to provide a better sound stage closer together so perhaps you don't have to go all the way to where the dash and door meet and could gain a little more room under the dash. I wish I had a wide body to play around with. Note, I have zero experience with horns, just passing along what I have read. I am actually pretty interested in horns for myself, so I am tuned in to this thread and I hope you find what your looking for OP.

Korea > China That amp built in the USA would have cost 3x's the price you paid and would still have had imported parts. If it does what it's supposed to, has the features you need, and is in your budget then what's the problem? Spending more on a different 1000w amp wont make it sound any better.

Use a good sealer/bonder primer then paint. I would roll it on to get the best finish, then spray clear coat to protect the finish if you want.
