That didnt take very long. 500 watt amp and 500 watt woofa good match up but you still have to use your ears and turn it down if it sounds like crap. sorry.

I have some Boston Pro 60SE on order to replace my Infinity Refrence. I am not happy with the Infinity, FWIW. When I go to install, I will be putting some deadener on the doors and I might bridge my RF 450.4 to them if I live without my rear speakers. I will let you know how the BA's sound next week.

I have always been a big fan of RF. I have used many of their products and I have never had one issue. Knocks wood. They do more than rated and they stand behind product. They do cost more, but IMO still a good value for the $. Look on the bay. If you are patient, you can find one for a deal maybe. All that said, the Sundown looks to be an excellent choice too. Is Thumper a RF dealer?

If he will pay 270, he will pay 300. Make it worth your trouble or tell him no. You can buy refurbished SAZ1500 for $320 something with 1 year warranty. That would be a nice deal for you if he gave you 300. Just sayin.

I have the Infinity Refrence 6.5 comps and I know what you are saying. They are suck when I turn them up. Very harsh. I am replacing them with a set of Boston Pro 60se. Will let you know how they sound when they get here on Monday.

Have 2 of the silver heatsink Rockford Fosgate 03 or 04 model 10001bd's, one for each. May buy one T3000 down the road, but will wait to see how these do for now. I think they will be fine and I already had them from something else. I am loyal to what works and I have never had any probs with RF. I keep watching those vids and I have no doubts I made a good decision with the xcons.

A few weeks ago, I saw a post where some guy down on bayou was offering to build a free enbclosure to get his workmanship out here for everyone to see. The catch was I had to buy the woofas from him. Well, since I can buy the SSA xcon for the same price from him that I can buy in the shop and the xcon was a woofa I was looking at, I didnt see any reason not to take this deal so I sent him an email before he sobered up and changed his mind. As for Quentin, communication was excellent during the entire process. He kept me updated through out the entire process. Not once did I have to wonder what progress he was making. His Dad took sick and he thought enough about me and my FREE enclosure to write me and let me know he was sorry it was taking so long. Taking so long???? I had this enclosure at my door in less than 3 weeks from my first email to Quentin. You can tell Quentin cares about his customers. He listens to them and he wants them to be happy. He knows the value of good service and communication and that is priceless. I have no doubts he will sell a bunch of these and I wish nothing but the best for him and his business. Got it !!!!!!! Brown truck showed up and handed me a 12" x 12" pink box with flowers on it, some chit the wife ordered, I was like WTF? I said hey man, dont you have something bigger in there for me?? He said oh yea and I was happy again! Well he goes in the brown truck and pulls out this huge box that is brown and pink. Okay now this chit is not funny, but I know from the size that it has to be my box. YES !!!!!! I opened it up and it looks great. Slid it into the Yukon for a test fit and it sits perfect !! Exactly what I wanted. Quentin is the chit !!! I will put a some pics and a my thoughts tomorrow when the sun is back out. I can already say this, the box looks rock solid and very well done. I can't sit still waiting on those xcons. Like a kid at Christmas. My lucky day indeed. Wife said booty call is a go, got a tracking number for the xcons and this nice ass enclosure is at my house. Off to the store to buy me a lotto ticket, a new can of copenhagen, and a few cold beers.

UPS says it's out for delivery, but not here yet.

Must be my lucky day. I will ask the wife for sex just to be sure, then buy a lotto ticket if she says yes.
