I had a 87 Monte Carlo SS with 2 sealed 12's back in the day and I cut out 2 10" circles of the foam out of the rear seats. It made a nice difference in low frequency in the car.

If you are running what is in your sig. You might need more like 30ft away. But yea I get it. I have from 2-3 bulk packs dampener plus a barrier. And personally don't want others to hear my stuff. It's can it perform inside that counts. I have a very extensive sound deadener application. my truck is almost perfectly quiet inside with no music and really, you cant hear the music with windows up from 10-15 feet away My wife herd mine in her car doing 80mph on I-20 with my driver window down half way riding behind her. I was more impressed than she was. LOL

SSD, no bass boost, set gains correctly forget about the 16v bat, you may not even need another 12v. There is no way you can charge any bat without an alt. edit to add you can charge a bat with a charger, but it will discharge in no time. yo uneed it on an alt.

How much $ do you have to spend? 85w is not a lot of power, most dedicated midbass like a lot of power to get them moving in the lower frequencies.

Ideally you would want different sizes. ex: 8" woofer, 3-4" mid, and the tweeter. What are you looking for? More midbass?

Not really an ideal set up with 2 6.5's. Can you go larger on the midbass?

You would have done better getting 2 12's. You are trying to fit a square peg in a round hole and you will not end up with what you hope to. From experience those 2 15's will pound in a 6cf sealed box and sound great doing so. Dont be afraid to run them sealed, you will love them. I personally think they sounded better sealed too.
