  1. Don't give me any ideas! Looks completely nutz. Great work. Waiting for more. Thanks John! Hopefully it wont be raining tonight and I can wrap it. Going Friday to have the rear lifted some more. Got 1.5" in the rear now and will be going with 3" in anticipation of it sagging even more from the weight. I hope this will sit me level or even get me a little bit of rake. If I get some rake I will crank on the torsion bars a little bit and raise the front a little more too.
  2. Seems the team LP guys got it going on.
  3. The level is sub volume. I always set gains with it on the highest setting. Some songs you want to be bass heavy and some you turn it down and chill. The sub level is not boosting a certain frequency like a bass boost or loudness feature does it is a volume controll to aid in blending your subs to the rest of your system. That's why I say max it out when setting gains.
  4. Gots to keep the Ladies happy. Wish my wife would let me put a small system in her car. To the wife - talking on the cell more important that the beats. ; )
  5. Look in the tech section on the home page for box designs. Fi also has some in their section on here. Or get a Kahotik !!!
  6. Someone's been watching too many youtube vids. 20k watts BTL's I hope no one gets ripped off.
  7. Zero. Stop using a DMM, trust your ears. Turn the level all the way up and slowly turn up the gain. When you see the woofer is stressed, back off the gain.
  8. Did you look in the tech section on the home page? Will any of those work?
  9. What is the sub level set to on the head unit?
  10. Khaotik + Icon = you a happy fella. Dont use the prefab. If you can build your own box, there are plans in the tech section.
  11. One of the reason why I have 'things' shipped the local UPS store, with my cell on the address ....the "oh, it's just parts for my car" bit was wearing thin..... especially when she found how much her cousin spent on his car audio! lol Ha Ha, I just ship it to the house and let her find out in due time. I usually just get a look but she don't give me a hard time about it. We split the bills up and have separate accounts. She don't ask me how much things cost anymore and neither do I. Trust me, the girls spend the hell out of some money! Arguing about money pretty much ruined my first marriage and separate accounts is only way to fly. Well, there was that time I tripped and fell, and my wiener accidentally got stuck in another girl, that didn't help either. lol
  12. I can second that. My 15's sounded incredible in a 6cf sealed box and were still very loud. Really hard punch and excellent transient response. I loved them sealed on rock and metal !!
  13. Well one thing I hope we can count on is you taking some of those incredible photos of your build.
  14. SQ woofas are tearing my Yukon up! Explain that. lol
  15. Thats pretty cool man! Now I need to finish this one up and get you a video!
  16. Your factory gauge is not going to be accurate, too slow. Check it with a DMM or like Stefan said get a LCD volt meter and monitor it.
  17. Do you have another amp for your highs you could hook up. Trying to confirm or eliminate the amp as the culprit. You say you have two alpine 4ohm 6.5's. One set per channel or two?
  18. Do you have another amp you can hook up to test?
  19. Looks good doo! I like where you slowed it on the subs.
  20. WOW! There are some very impressive pictures in this thread. Nice job guys!
  21. No! LOL Thank you Sefugi! 9.5" top, 21.5" bottom, 22" tall - 341 sq" of port. Maybe it will move a little bit of air. Edit to add thank you for that link too!!!
