  1. What do you think about Jon's Bohlender Graebener Neo's? I almost got some for myself and still might!
  2. That's one sexy town car Bro. I wish I was closer to come hang with yall Texas Boyz and toss back a few :drink40: and get a couple demos.
  3. Got ya. Check it. Excellent mids right here. Very low distortion and damn smooth midrange. B&C 8NDL51 You could also look at 18sound. No personal experience, but they are high end PA stuff with a great reputation. eighteen sound Sundown? Still have not seen the goods on those, but I stopped looking so maybe the specs are up now??
  4. Welcome. I too have run a bunch of Fosgate in my time. Starting with punch 45/150 combo to start it all off. I am old school because I am old. lol
  5. I would do one 10 before I did 2 8's Bro. The surface area of the larger driver will overcome any loss of DB's IMO and you will have a single source vs trying to work with multiple sources. Thing is about PA drivers is the sensitivity Bro. Think about this.......... a car mid at 86 db and a PA mid at 96db. On the same power that PA mid will wax that fucking ass. If your looking for midbass you will give up some sensitivity, but if you pay attention to the specs it's not as bad as you think. Just look for something with a lower FS and decent XMAX. For instance My 10's have a FS of 50hz and 8mm XMAX and I can get a decent amount from mine at lowish volumes if I EQ it up a little bit which is nice as I dont always play full tilt. Now @ 150db plus it wont matter for shit because you wont hear midbass anyways. lol I chose my mids to sound damn good on music at lower volume and get loud as fuck at high volume. They do an excellent job. Since you want to run tweeters and not horns you will need a mid that can play up high also. People talk shit about super tweeters but that is mainly because they have only herd a shitty install by people who take no time to blend it. They just set it up to be balls out loud. I have been told mine are too quiet so completely opposite of what most people say about ST's. I think it sounds good personally. Yes, horns would always be best to get a nice image, but a perfectly imaging sound stage was not my goal. Loud and clear was. Done!
  6. Looks nice. Very clean. LOL @ sad emo car.
  7. They tell you your package has to withstand a 20' drop. 20' EDIT: I might have made that up now that I think about it, lol that seems kinda far. I have had subs show up looking like they shipped from just down the street and some show up looking like they were dropped at the door from a crop duster. There has never been an issue with any of them, so I will say from experience packaging up subs I have sold has been very time consuming and gets damn expensive too. I wouldn't worry about it if i was the manufacturer as long as claim ratios were minimal. I am sure there are some, but I honestly cant remember reading about a new sub that showed up DOA.
  8. Sweet HU Bro. Price looks nice too. Wish I had some spare cash, good luck with your sale.
  9. True., but keep in mind pa mids are 8ohm so you will get half that. They will still get loud as he'll tho. I got 500w per side on my mids, but I always did have problems doing things in moderation. LoL
  10. Pro audio, one mid driver per door and bridge that 4ch to them. Go as big as you can fit! Horn tweeters if you don't wanna go with a super tweeter. Personally mine blend nicely. Smaller amp for those. No problems what so ever getting loud even at 150 plus. Multiple drivers look cool but that's about it.
  11. Nice! Now go get that tranny and crank up the boost.
  12. Thats gunna leave a mark. Welcome back Mr Scar. lol
  13. Damnit man. Got Subs? lol Should be a beast.
  14. Thank you guys !!! That would be the Pioneer DEX-P99RS for starters ... Sweet! Do want. ????
  15. thanks dude. i cant tell you how happy i am with these subs. And to think some little roach on here told me my subs were garbage. HA HA Fuck yo,u im louder than you!!! Sorry. Everybody running ZCONS are loud period. /Rant.
  16. BRO that's fucking crazy. Well done my man
  17. Fucker got builds popping up all ova this Yo. lol MORE PICS!
  18. Damn it man. Got that thing doing work! Nice job Buddy!
  19. Its "stock" from the factory. Factory just included an Ls3 6.2L......NICE! I want.
  20. That Chevy winds up pretty quick. What mods are done to it?
  21. lol, yeah how dumb does that thought look right about now? lol Thanks Buddy. That is prolly not too far off from what will happen. Buddy of mine has been trying to sell me his van for a while now and the reality is I should do something like that. I just really wanted something smaller/faster/more mpg as a daily driver and use the Yukon for shows and what not. I was going to drop $2k plus on paint first of the year, but I cant justify doing that if this keeps happening.
  22. Okay so by ignoring the problem, it seems I have made things much worse. Looks like no bumping in the Yukon for a while. SON OF A FUCKING BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Passenger rear door jam. Outside the truck under the window. I am not sure if it's worth all this shit anymore. I was going to paint her flat black in January, now I might have to reconsider keeping this much system in it and fork over that kind of coin on a paint job. Really fucking depressed about it. I am tearing this truck and my wallet apart. Damn it, just fucking damn!
