how much do i have to work with??
You could go 4.5 @ 33 if you used all that space, but may not leave room for the wave to get back into your cabin. Why not 2 12's? $?

You really just have to look around man. There are tons of choices for pro sound. Enough to give you a head ache looking at them. The biggest problem I had choosing is finding a driver that could play below 100hz and still get loud too. Some brands I would look at are B&C, Eminence, Faitalpro, and on the high end $$ Beyma and 18sound. What I suggest and what I personally did was start on the lower end like Eminence or Selenium and see if pro drivers are even direction you want to go. You can get a pair of Selenium 6W4P 6" mids and a pair of Selenium ST200 tweeters for like $100 total on parts express. Wont be the best obviously but will give you a good idea of what you are messing with and would still sound pretty good too. Lots of people run them and like them so you can always sell them and get some of the money back to as they are pretty popular on other forums.

Damn I missed it, nice choice on that town car. Will be the tits when you get your audio in her. Big boat with boom! Put up some pics of her bro. I would agree on the tweeters, my ST350's were much smoother then the Crescendo, but I had to cross the Selenium over at 5000hz and the crescendo at 3000hz. My front mids dont like playing up that high. I have found that if I take the gains for the highs down to -5 through the HU on the Crescendo they are not quite as raspy and sound much better. All in all the Selenium did sound better and I would agree with what you said and I wish they would work out on my install. Luckily I made the baffles where I can try out some more later. Horns would be the ticket, but damn I really dont want to go through all that and they are $$$!

Making some good progress now bro. Looks real good. Sucks to have days like that where everything goes wrong, but there is always tomorrow. I use the same thing to separate spark plug wires, had not thought about using it to keep cables separated too.

Group Buy on a Zed Built Boss Audio REV-665
I really should change the name of this topic, as it is not really a group buy so much as it is more of a last chance on some quality 4 channels that are no longer made anymore, for a nutty price. These amps are already shipping, they are going out as the orders are coming in. We spoke with ZED last night and a bunch more shipped out yesterday. The quantity is getting low, so I would not wait too much longer. There are a couple of another model left that is similar to this model, but we won't put those up until all of the REV-665's are gone. We have a people buying these a fail safes, back up amps, quality amp for their girlfriend/wife's car, first amp for their kid, ZED collectors, or even some people who have bought them to use them as 2 channel amps for more power to their mids or mid-bass for a great price. I realize you may not want to spill the beans on the other amps just yet, but will there be any larger amps? I like savings the money.

Many smaller subs vs larger subs
I ran out there with a tape measure, and in the back of my four-door s-10, to not have a ridiculously obvious box (dim: 44" W x 33" L x 16" H) cu in ran out to 13.4 cu ft. I could always make the box 24" H And that would get me out to 20.17 cu ft. But even 6 12" BLs would only require a max of 15 cu ft, so I assume 13.4 would be pretty alright. What about the low end response though? Am I gonna have to go louder to get a better low end response? And approximately how many sq in/ft of port space would I need? Or the equation to figure that out... All That ^ is all wrong. You are giving yourself an extra cf on volume somehow (I dont know how, but you did) and you are NOT into taking into account the sub and port displacement which would make your volume even smaller.

SPL vs SQ
You are lucky your a girl with all these silly questions or you would have your own thread just like Fi Baby does. I suggest you go to a show and sit in a few different cars. Both SPL and SQ set ups. At the very least use the search button.

Then that is exactly what I used, marine vinyl. That described it perfectly. Maybe I will try flannel backing when I recover them down the road. Thanks buddy!
