  1. How cheap? you could always get a 4ch and use it later on the highs.
  2. Yes, you can bridge 2 channels to the sub at 4ohm and run 2 channels in stereo to your front. For instance the DSC4125 can run 125w x 2 in stereo and 500w x 1 to a sub. you kinda lost me on that 20ohm part so i am sure there is more to your question that i didnt help with. Edit: I failed at reading your sub is dual 4 so no that will be a no go.
  3. POWER : 1970 Watts AMP VOLTAGE (measured) : 49.25 V AMP CURRENT (calculated) : 40 A ACTUAL IMPEDANCE (calculated) : 1.23 ohms SUPPLY VOLTAGE : 12.85 V bump the voltage up a little an this beast could 800 over the rated 1500 I'm sure.... improbable but not impossible... Sundown rates their amplifiers at 12.8 volts, not 14.4 volts like Rockford. Fosgate gives a THD rating with their ratings Sundown does not. This game can go on forever. Both are nice amps. Period. . dot
  4. Hummm, not any bolt. As long as it's not metal connected to plastic or something you should be fine. Between that strut bolt and the metal would be good tho. You could drill a new hole if it's easier on your install, just be sure to paint after you secure the bolt and ring terminal so it dont rust.
  5. I dont see why not as long as you scrub the paint down to bare metal.
  6. Whats the goal? Louder or lower?
  7. I am not a big fan of buying used batteries unless I know them, but that's about half what one is new so it's a good deal I suppose. 44ah - I would look at something a little bigger personally.
  8. Had yours done locally or blackbear takes forever to ship? I walked into a shop locally and bought the Bullydog. Impulse buy.
  9. AIR LIFT 60769 1000 Series Rear Air Spring Kit is what I bought. Blackbear would be better I agree, but I am impatient.
  10. They fit inside the coil springs. Takes about an hour or two, but can be done in the driveway. They are like $80 on Amazon and well worth it. I bought them to lift the rear a little more, but the ride quality is MUCH better too. Closer to stock, get a bullydog programmer. I got one to recalculate my speedo after the larger tires and it did give it a little more pep too. Nothing earth shattering, but noticeable even if only throttle response.
  11. On my Yukon I have air lift bags and Bilstein 5100 shocks. Ride is great considering I have it lifted on 20's and 35 x 12.50's. Maybe better than stock. As for performance, I have just accepted that I will be slow unless I drop $3500 on a Whipple. Braking is easy when you don't go fast. lol
  12. This ^ Well put.
  13. Damn bro, glad you and the passengers are ok.
  14. Seen some strange shit, but this is a first. Would that pay more then a tat on a human? I would think so, people are crazy about pets. If not, you should x's 10 the price, I bet cost would not matter to someone serious about getting this done to a pooch. I saw on TV where a guy had the whites of his eyes blackened, ever done anything like that? Looked crazy.
  15. 32 with one 15.....pfffft. Nice sub. looking forward to your install pics.
  16. 2854....at ohm.......the amps varied from 2300-2900... Again, that does not mean much in the real world. Which is true for all amps so no disrespect to Fosgate. I feel sure it does rated and maybe more just like other amps rated the same way.
  17. Yeah, just cut a MDF ring to hold the larger 6.5" driver and mount that to your door and the driver to it. You will need amps and active crossovers to run these drivers. Might as well get an amp on your current drivers and see if that helps first before you go spending money. You might liek them with some power on them.
  18. Why not start smaller and go with the 6W4P. You should get a good feel if that is a route you want to take after playing around with them and you wont have to modify you doors so much.
  19. Host it on photobucket imageshack etc. copy the direct link from that sight click the insert image icon above your new post and paste the link in there.
  20. Well if she is buying subs, I wont tell. lol Your husband will love the XCONS. Seriously nice woofa's.
  21. Only one way to find out man.
  22. Makes lots of sense. Sound arrives at your ear at different times and at different paths of the sound wave. This can cancel out what one ear is hearing. Ideally you want the sound to arrive at both ears at the same time. Hard to do when one driver is 1' away and the other is 4' away. Wiring one driver out of phase can help this as it is delaying one driver to hopefully have them arrive at the same time at the same wave length to your ears.
  23. Yup, exactly what Shizzz said. It's plug and play.......works great too.
