^^ mine are just starting to break in after 5-7 hours of play and theres a bit of a difference, after they start breaking in the lows become stellar lol, also op i was running 1 sa-12 on my 1500 @2ohms with very little voltage drop so they where seeing 1k ish before imp rise but it handled it like a champ, but if using that much power there can be no clipping as you are pushing them pretty hard and that will heat up quick

i wasent sure having bat to alt to bus bar would be ok but it worked out well.... lil over kill haveing 2 runs of 0g flex and 1 run klmx 0g lol

lil build i did this weekend, 3 sa-12s on a saz [email protected], 6cf@30hz kerfed port sealed w glass. lots of sanding left and a outside glassing needed but sounds great

your not gana get a 150 and have deep bass, i used a single dd3518 last year to compete and was poping off 147s...... tuned to 42hz on 1500w clamped after imp rise burping 45-47hz 00 rango..... its just not going to happen man, also dont expect to get close to 2600w outa that hifonics

toyopl, run each woofer on separate channels, at 2 ohms per channel and you will love them.

just a note (great choices btw) the sax 125.2 puts out closer to 500wrms bridged

if you only want the amp for a short time go ahead with hifonics.... we clamped an 08 2600 and got 1k @1.3 ohms......... rofl go aq b4 hifonis man

only reason i know is i compete and used a cadence ia9 last year, and a aq 2200 as a temp amp(same board, cadence has better parts a lil bit more power), not saying they are bad amps. they run HOT also, my saz 1500 @.66 stays way cooler than the cadence or aq @1

also on that power i would stick with the ssd

what i would try is a saz-1000 round 315, and a fi ssd 15..... you have to clip aq amps to get rated, and the saz1000 you will get 1200 of clean power out of it@ 1 ohm

the z.2 is out of that price range.... the sa-15 will be out 3rd quarter of the year if you can wait, and the 125.2 bridged will put out right around 500rms, or you could get the 1000 for a lil bit more if you can find one. i would try a fi ssd 15 on a sax 125.2 bridged

That's not completely tru, ther are a couple of brand that are overrated and a few that even suck. I went through 3 Kenwood amps and they all over heated, traded them for MTX and it worked wonderfully. I think that's what people are trying to find out, if one brand is overrated, or overheats, or sounds crappy, etc... mtx= overpriced hardcore and over hyped...... glad you got off kenwood though lol most of what they have is crap

nice build man, very clean. so on the bolts are you using brass?

kinetik or xs power will work great, you will want a 250 instead of 300a alt the 250 does more at idle and big3 is a must would double up if possible, im using the fleks and it is great stuff
