ok so far I only got the cable guy that's gone into the 150s....anybody else?? I gota believe more ppl on here have done it too?

I am in a minor dispute here. I was looking to do a 150 trunk set up and I was talking about what I was looking to buy to a few friends of mine. One friend pipes up and says that "I can do 150 ease with 2 12s on 1k sealed in a 2 cube box".......BULLSHIT!!! SO....I am asking you guys who have done it before to please post if you have done it and how so?? i.e. ( what subs, amps, box size, electrical ect) So I can get a better idea of what kinda cash in going to be spending AND to prove him wrong.

Tirefryr is right and wrong to some extent mostly right, wire is not just wire, when you are talking about a power supply of 5vdc @ 20ma max the right conductor is CRUCIAL. In the world of car audio we use current in such excessive amounts and use such short runs (relative to the total resistance of the conductor) that when your taking brand A compared to brand B the differences are all the way out to the 3rd and 4th decimal place resistance per foot....and unless they are using an O-scope to measure that you will never know, a typical fluke meter has a 1%+/-!!!!! Now for the stand count....... The idea behind the strand count is surface area, nothing more. Electrons flow from positive to negative over the surface of a conductor not though it. so the more strands you have in a conductor the more area you can generate in the same MCL or gauge of wire.

Well that scope is going to be your best friend for output, gain, and signal quality.....you are going to need some way to power them with the exact same source of power (that will be regulated at a specific voltage) Also how much power is the variable resistor good for and how low will it go??

HAAAA have you ever tried to get super user permissions on that thing???? it sucks..... terrible phone, shit for hardware and force closes the OS..... tried to overclock to 1.4 ghz, unstable, HOT temps, poor batt life, FAIL! Get the X way easy to hack (even though its the same OS) that way you can get all the cool features for free like wifi teather, plus NO MORE PAYING FOR INTERNET AT HOME!!!!!! EDIT: dint see this....@ Dutchie. they have the same processor speeds stock. and the X takes a far better picture, this is not opinion its fact. 8 meg pic will look worse on cell phone screen BC phone has to compress image to fit onto screen. Plus X can record 720 high def so he can record some sweet vids of his truck and put them on SSA!!!!! Took 30 seconds to root my captivate, had no problems OC'd at 1.2. Upgraded to 2.2 and took about 5 minutes with a different rom. The Galaxy phones will record 30 fps 720 as well. did you use easy root, with rom manager, and set CPU to OC what Rom are you Running right now......Running ballistic beast myself as of now

Basically anything and everything. You can install apps that were paid for(not by you) and they work. You can customize looks and boot. Best thing is tethering built into the ROM of the device. I currently own a Google Nexus One and cannot seem to find a reason to get a new phone. I don't have Verizon so I couldn't be bothered to fully look at the 2 comparisons you mentioned but you should definitely go for the smartphone with the highest frequency processor for smoother response. My brother has an Incredible and loves it though. I couldn't tell you for sure which is better but the Incredible is more hackable.. yep yep... I mainly only hack phones to get WIFI tether and over clock the processor just a touch (1.8ghz currently) as not to affect batt life and make the phone run smoother with no lag. you will also be able to customize EVERYTHING about the phone not just back grounds and themes..

X2 on this ..... I think those amps have a solid state relay for the control circuit. SO you shouldn't me hearing any "clicks" when it comes on.

i totally agree i was going to suggest to you to use a adapter plate and run a set of components.

need to know a little more about what you want.....you going to run a 4ch on them?? how much power are you going to put to them???? do you want SQ or midbass??? what do you want these to do that your current ones do not??

Only way to really know is to try it, but to get you close here is the break down. 1200 watts will need about 110 to 130 amps depending on how eff. the amp is, and the car will generally need 75% of its alternator capacity. So its a safe bet that your going to be short on the current flowageaitation (flow-age-a-ma-ta-tion)

12'' Icons dual 1's I bought them about 3months ago from Lucky 76, I have never put power to them (accept to test to make sure they work) they are still under the 1 year warranty, and he only used them for about 1 month before he decided to go with 4 Xcon's

i was thinkin about asking 250 for it and it would come with a cb-II ipod adapter and for the subs was thinking 325 for the pair buyer pays shipping, but this wont be untill I get a new one to replace it. As for the ICONS they can go whenever I just haven't put them up yet.
