2009 Malibu Build (2 B2 Audio CC 12")
What is your goal with the system? I personally would not switch. To me the Xcon is the best sounding high powered subwoofer. If you are just going for loud there are other subwoofers that could probably do that better than the Xcon. Goal was and still is gettin loud , to be honest the thing that has changed is what i feared most getting loud in my particular vehicle without walling, and I still refuse to wall, I may have chosen a sub which is not capable for this application.?

thats looking violent! Yup it's getting better and louder as I get closer to sealing off the trunk completely or as much as I can for that matter I have a feeling this will really wake up when I get an alt.

It's not that late right now... Sorry man had to go to work, besides the running at 4 ohms is safe for the subs right now, and allows me to hear any progress of sealing up the trunk, for now its getting loud and louder with every time i find something else to seal up, as compared to when i first installed, and the lows are getting more and more vicious and reinforced. Im definitely on the right path. Ya found the ones in the trunk they were some big ass 10 x 3 vent on each side, Ill have too see about the other ones you are talking about I bought lots of exp foam and need to get some more deadener on the cheap.

2009 Malibu Build (2 B2 Audio CC 12")
Found out something interesting today while i was doing dome deadening and sealing with some expanding foam, had the box pulled forward out of trunk sitting on the top of the fold down seats and decided to see what that sounded like. Well it gets pretty loud and when i open the trunk and roll down the windows fucking thing opened up a can of woop ass on my car and instantly was very close to and or right on 146 and some change. Anybody explain this too me I wish i could get it to do that while i have the box where i want it in the trunk firing forward.

Starting to think my enclosure has too much port for the power i am using, does fine at 4ohms and when @ 1ohm there is not much difference in output and experiencing unloading @1ohm and no unloading @4ohms. Amp does 2k @4ohms and 3500@1.

Im not sure if the speaker terminals would matter having 1 (A + -) and a B(+ -) from the internal guts pic of the amp they seem to be not visibly bussed +'s or -'s.

Well its getting a lil better with more and more tweaking etc, but my concern is when i wired for 1ohm the unloading problem is weighing heavy on my mind. One thing is for sure i need to seal of the trunk as best i can and do some deadening (car has no deadener at all) , and going to need an alt.
