Even with the advise to get less thick wire I got the 8 Gauge a sec. ago. I guess you can call me hard-headed. Appreciate the help and will take it all in.

Speaker wire is more expensive though, Not by much but it is.. Why is that? Does "Speaker Wire" already have both runs (Positive & Negative) of wire?

My amp is more than 5 ft. away from the box terminal. So i need 8 gauge for the long distance. I'll lose power if get get less thick wire.I know it won't be noticeable but I got the $10 to get it so why not.

I want to get 8 gauge speaker wire for my speakers and was wondering if it matter if I use "Power Wire"? Here is the link. KnuKoncepts Power Wire And if I want 5 feet i would really need to double it for positive and negative so it would come out to 10 feet in quantity, right? Could be the settings on amp. Tell us both box sizes, tuning, and settings on amp(Low Pass Filter, SubSonic Filter).

Same thing was wrong with mine at one point. It might be that the RCA Outputs aren't grounded. How to test: One thing you can do to see is temporarily, grab a piece of speaker/copper wire make sure it touches the RCA output shields (the shiny outside part of the connector) and the case of the HU. If the noise goes away i would recommend soldering a piece of fused wire from the RCA output shield to the casing as shown in this tutorial. http://bcae1.com/images/rca/temporaryrcashieldrepair.html
