It can, yes. People put it on the corner above the port, when they have port back/subs up. It may help, it may not. -
I would set one amp to a sub up and set the gain by ear first. Then take your DMM, set it to DC volts and plug the DMM probes to the speaker terminals and see what reading that gives you. Have the other amp hooked up to the other sub, then put the DMM probes into the speaker terminals and set the gain till' it's equal with the other amp's reading. This could be wrong, but that's how i would do it. If the subs show any sign of stress, turn one down 'till it stops being over worked, check the voltage it's putting out and match the other to that voltage.

Just because there is a complaint doesn't mean the company is at fault. I have yet to see someone complain and Fi not fixing the problem, whether it's the customer's fault or Fi's.

IIRC... you make your order, chris has jacob send him a broken amp, he fixes it when it's turn is up, and then it gets shipped to you. Can take a little bit of time! Worth the wait! post pics. of your box!

what setting did you use? try switching + and - too see if its out of phase by chance?
For a daily box 30-35 seems to be the preferred choice. I"m happy with my 35 hz tuning!
Even climate control in the glove box! Pretty damn smooth.
