I know that i can't argue with stupid, so i let it be Can't see much of the amp under there anyways, i mostly want to get rid of the wire mess, and i can't do much about all the wires so ill just cover them up! haha working on it now. Updates later today, hopefully before work!

What's goin' on?

I know how to wire the two batts together(+ to + fused about 12" from batts on both ends, - to chassis) but where would the cap go, assuming I'm not going to get rid of the cap all together? Would it be between the front and rear batt, or between the rear batt and the amp? If it's between the two batts do you need to put a fuse between the cap and rear batt? I would (already did in my past) ditch the cap. and just run batteries. BUT if you do want to keep it I don't think it would matter where it is, but i would put it after all the batteries before the amp. Without a fuse before/after it. I believe it's too small to worry about fusing around it. They really are SUPER tiny compared to even a small battery.

Did a little work today. Will finish tomorrow. Building a "beauty panel" to cover up the area below my box, hide the wire mess, 100.4 and battery. In the end i want to mount my Xovers and fuse holders to this panel to have a little "flash". Ran out of spray glue, only had 1/2 of a 3/4" side to cover so I'll go get some tomorrow along with some super glue to put magnets in place-what i want to hold the panel on with (ease of removal in case i change/tweak anything). Chose to go with the same color as my box. It looks good mocked up, but i wont post that image 'till tomorrow Side note... Went into town today real quick and on the way home i received another threat. I live outside city limits mind you. I was about 1/4 mile from home, playing my music, when i see some guy running down his driveway. Figured he was running across the road before traffic gets to him, there were a couple cars behind me a ways. He STOPS in the middle of my lane with his hands in the air. As i slow down to figure out what he's doing i turn my music off. He rushes me, leaning in my window complaining about how loud my music is and how the next time i drive by with it on i'm going to get a rock through my window. I didn't say anything and drove off, i was in a rush to get dinner before a movie anyways. Didn't need some dude stalling me any more. This is getting ridiculous, is it only me, or do you guys have this happen to you as well? I was nowhere near town, so i had no idea where this guy was coming from. Middle of the day (~5:00), not in a residential area, and still getting verbally assaulted for my music. I have said before, i understand I'm "loud" but I can't even listen to it at that levels on back roads? This guy had to of been breaking more laws than i was. People tell me i should make police reports when this happens. But i'd rather not deal with all that. Only if anything happens to my car will i go there.

Thanks. Well, I get one of these thingies under my avatar. Over there, obviously, and they threw in a pair of DC LV2 12s and a 1200 watt DC amp. Pretty cool. Very nice! what are ya' going to do with your new toys?

I think i expected more. But then again, i spent more time outside listening than inside. Think we listened to my car more as well. Should try and get him to take me for a cruise around town sometime. He needs more power, waiting on that alt. Voltage issues!

I never wash the inside of my windows. If i do it's just with a microfiber cloth and some water. It's just cheap tint. What do you mean by, "go with the glass"? Thanks for the tips!

100% agree. Told him about a comp. that has (should have) a TL on sept. 4th, he said he is down to go to it and get metered. So in about a month we will know

Met with a local guy to show off what we have. He is running 2 DD 3518s on an American bass 175.1. Has 2 Optima batteries, 13 ft^3? tuned to 32 hz. 6" aeros. He is having DC power build a custom 200 amp alt for him which should be here in a couple weeks. Did it all himself, learning as we went i guess. Pretty chill dude, glad to have met someone with nice equipment in town that is as loud/louder than me It went as i thought it would. His lows kicked my ass, but i got him on the higher frequencies... i think. Need to spend more time in his truck and get a feel for everything. So i guess i can't say that i'm louder. Need to listen to a song that i'm used to hearing in my car. compare the two. Have a little look see. I was too excited to get everything on film, my bad! He says everything is for sale, so if you're really interested in anything i can get more info for you. This build is about a month old.
