Take a look at this site. Seems to make a bit of sense when I read it a few years ago. http://www.smartgauge.co.uk/batt_con.html
  2. Hope everyone is safe, and the damage isn't too bad. Best of luck on the repairs.
  3. WD barracuda? What is this magic? I have the same CPU. Haven't OC it at all, is there any noticeable difference from the stock 3.4 up to 4.6?
  4. Great idea! Box looks super clean. Use any screws at all?
  5. Looks like a BITCH to mount. How do you like the performance?
  6. Hope this link works. This is where I see their sales and updated prices, as they update their wire price on a monthly basis as copper prices fluctuate. If you order enough you can get free shipping as well, which is pretty big when ordering something this heavy. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Electron-Beam-Technologies-Inc/122082121139733
  7. Every so often EB flex has sales on their large wire as well. I've used them multiple times, great wire at an awesome price.
  8. Box looks good, but it seems backwards to be building a box before you decide on subs? As for the plan for door speakers you should put the money you want to spend on the rear speakers and put them towards nicer front speakers/install.
  9. Happy new year to all. May you bass stay low and your scores ever high!
  10. Account setup should be pretty much instant. No wait time.
  11. Lol, at least FexEx is being consistant. What is your box going to spec out at? I'm shooting for 3.5 to 4cuft with a 33Hz tune. I'll be building a test box with extenal ports just to goof around till I like what I hear then I'll commit to a nice box. Right about the same as you. Hope to be closer to 4 ft^3 and anywhere from 30-35 should be just fine.
  12. Got mine a week ago as well, same story all the way down to the hole in the box
  13. Those dash LEDs look so much better than stock. Great improvement. Car looks cleaner on every page- keep it up!
  14. Curious what the resolution is, are you able to say?
  15. Alternative? http://www.harborfreight.com/hydraulic-wire-crimping-tool-66150.html It's pretty easy to get a 20% off code from them as well. A little over your budget, but I think worth it. I got one of these and love it. Don't plan to crimp anything larger than copper 1/0 terminals with the supplied dies though.
  16. Nice sub choice. Love those caps. No reason to not do a build log
  17. So it's just a little box with LEDs for power, protect, and clipping? Would never pay any extra for that. The 2/3 of those that are useful are already on the amp. Put the money into getting a bass knob.
  18. It's great to see positive reviews on a company. It seems like too often great service doesn't go noticed, while when something goes wrong the company gets put on blast. Kudos to you! Fi kicks ass
  19. Awesome build. Really like the subtle logo addition. Everything looks so damn CLEAN!
  20. Also, what are you comparing when you say they're pretty much twins?
  21. they didn't really go "up to 799", the black friday pricing was removed.
  22. Ask around, a lot of people design boxes for fun. There are a couple box builders on here that I'm sure will be more than willing to help one way or another.
  23. The Dcons aren't avail. right now, do you mean the Gcon?
