Aww my build is so cool i attract spam? Got the box done today. I moved my hand too much, overshot the glue and got some on the outside of the box. FML. No point in putting it in my car though, i have no other speakers to listen to music with... just a bunch of subs in my room. Proof? check the pics. Taking it all out of the CRX.. OEM Dont have the little divider installed, so it's a hole in the back of my car. And the state of my room. 4 12"s, 1 10", 1 15", sealed 12 box, sealed 10 box, box for 15, box for 4 12s... and shipping boxes for all the subs/batteries/parts taken out of my car.

No worries, I try to be as open as I can about how things are and why things are here. It is sad about Bravox. I did get an updated USA stock sheet just a few hours ago. I will see what else people will be interested in and that we can blow out at fun prices. Just sold my mids. i have nothing but subs in my car right now lol i need some components!

I agree. I also realize that anyone that comes here, new or old, has an opinion. If all these new people come here and this is the first thread they follow that has anything to do with any of the companies mentioned that's their first impression. Good or bad, those can be hard to let go of. Can be a good thing , or in the case a bad thing for SSA.

They're an authorized dealer. Aren't Bravox going out of business or something like that? That's why they're able to sell these on the cheap side of things.

Just looked up the specs on the X subs, looks like my box is about 1/2 of what the required volume needed. It's at .85 ft^3, and they say minimum about 1.6... Doesn't look like porting it will be an option.

Wanted to use up my extra MDF so i made a little box for one of my 12"s, might get an aero port for it later, maybe 40 hz just to see what it sounds like. Not used to sealed, or such a high tuning, so this will be a little test box. I need to take the big box out. It broke all the supports i've got it on. Def. need to beef that up. I have plans with some 2X4s... I wanted to wrap the false floor anyways so this will be good. Sold my AA carbon fiber mids today. Couple days ill get some comps. Im leaning towards JBL 6.5s with the "plus one" cone area design. Anyone have comments on these, or suggestions on a set they have liked? I want to keep it around $100 for the set. Open to a lot really, just need a solid set to get loud and clean. Got some glue and carpet today. Tomorrow i'll cut the speaker hole, run the wire and wrap it. First time for wrapping. Should be fun! Spring break lets me be really productive! AA mids all packaged up. Going to Diablo.

Well that sucks, it doesn't take much for the ceramic inside the O2's to get damaged. I'm sure you'll get it straightened out. Didn't know they were so delicate. Ill take precautions with handling the new one! Thanks for the heads up

Sefugi: I believe my oxygen sensor is damaged/was damaged during the install. So my check engine light is on. I can notice a sound difference, but with that O2 acting up my engine is being a little weird. Hope to order a new sensor tonight. NGK FTW! Sir Lancelot: Thank you, kindly.

What should the battery be sitting at for float charge? if i was to check the voltage after the battery sitting for the night, what range should i be looking at. Info that it came with said not to install if it was under 12.7, should i just keep it above that?

Little clean up and some photos later and this is what i have right now.. Little image editing.. ill leave this to the pros. Giving the battery a little charge.

If you want more "sq" you shouldn't be worried about power levels.

Every vehicle will be different, cant know with those amps. How you wire the subs, how you set your gains, yada yada. Going to have to buy and see how it goes.

i would get the 1/0 wire first for the big 3. With that size alt and amp i think the Battery should be fine. Get a volt meter and check what happens. Personally i bought my bat. first. Plan to save for my alt next. Bat helped a bit, but still needs more. I'm in the same boat as Jd277, i only have a 60amp alt, so upgrade is a must either way.

It's worth the wait. Believe me.

What about the reverse polarity one? or would that be too big of a pain? It's really easy to make your own terminals. Check out the last page of my build log (see sig.) and you can see how i did mine. It's really up to you, if your short of cash grab the used one up, if not check summit.
