most potential
what 15" sub have the most potential im not looking for a high class spl sub or a one note wonder..i think im going to have a enclosure designed to have my subs firing into the cabin...im sorry for posting a thread similar to my last i just want to get all the info i can before i purchase my subs within the next week or so. since all these subs basically require the same size enclosure (3-4 cf) no need to post that, power will be no more that 1600/per. GOAL-loud as hell and able to take a beating daily and sound good doing it DC level 4XL FI BL (4"coil & Flatwind) Sundown Z SA-15

BL in smallest box
Does the 15" BL need to be in a 4cf enclosure to work well or can it be used in the smallest recommended enclosure which is 3cf without sacrificing anything?

sealed 15's
OK heres the deal I went to quite a few audio shops today to price a box for two ported 15's and the answers that i go wasnt the ones i wanted. The only shop that was willing to do the work and told me they would fit is closing for renovation. so now im looking for some 15's that would work great sealed 15's or some that will work good in a small pored enclosure. Like i said in last thread i dont have an amp yet but im purchasing my whole system Monday. the max for each sub is $400...and yea im stuck on two 15's now even though everyone is going to suggest 12's

Better question, what 1700 watt amp do you have? dont have one yet.

SA-15
I might try to get a sub that can take that amount of power rather than stressing a sub not meant to take that kind of power

good sounding loud (potential to produce good numbers) x2 15" $350 max 4 cubes ported at least 1500 rms as for other materials...im starting fresh so none as as of yet

loudest $300 sub
i should have made the title best $300 or less sub, but anyway i want to be different from everybody around here because everyone around here thinks kicker subs are the best, for example when you tell someone you have a L7 or a cvx its like so i want something that will play louder and sound better. i want about 1600-2000 max per sub with about 4 cubes per sub
