its been awhile but i finally got my system pretty much done. still got sum stuff to do much nothing major. Im running 2 8" L7's dual 2ohm wired in 4ohm powered by 2 kicker zx450.2 amps in bridged mode. The box is 2.20 cu. ft with a L shaped port tuned to 34hz. These little 8's are sick. i had just the one 8" L7 and amp for awhile. Plus this is my first fiberglass project and i gotta say it turned out great. theres 9 layers inside and out (18 all together). need to prep for paint next but im not in a hurry just yet. so once i get the new sub broken in im gonna make a vid. so let me kno what you guys think.

hell ya. that sante fe was bomb.

apply resin to the fleece area. let it sit until its a sticky. then apply another coat of resin and apply the stips of fiberglass. let dry a little and take a little paint roller and roll the air bubbles out. if not then the glass will pop when its dry. then just do the same for each coat. thats the way i was told to do it.

what size aero port should i get and how long should it b? im new to aero ports and ported boxs. parts express had sum but idk wat 2 get?

im building a rectangular box. i was gonna ported cuz i was gonna get a 10" fi ssd. originally i was gonna make a L shaped ported box but was told 2 get aero ports insted. the box that i wanna build is 3/4" mdf and is 30" long, 9" deep, and 12" high and has 1.30 cu. ft. of air. The ssd needs to be .90-1.80 cu. ft ported to 33hz. wat should i do? can sum one make a diagram or sumthing? thanks.

I was wondering if there was any shops in arizona looking for full time help. Except heres the trick, im not certified. But want 2 get certified. I was wondering if there was a way i could get with a shop and either install or sell audio/video. Im very passionate about car audio and would love 2 do this for a living. Im outta high school so now my schedule is wide open. if any one knows of a shop that hiring then that would be awsome. thanks. really appreciated.

awsome. they sound like awsome subs. well this seams like a stupid question (considering the thread im in) ive been trying 2 decide between a 10"fi ssd or a 10" dc lv.3, and right now it looks like dc. is there a noticeable dofference in sound and performance if its in a sealed box? i'll hit rusty up and get a price. thanks

Whats it go for? and will it work pretty good in a long wedge shaped box w/ 3/4" mdf at .78 cu. ft in a sealed box? 600/1200 seams to be wat i need. i figured i can only get one cuz im limited on space and wanted a good sized box for a good output. whats the excusion like? thanks.
