  1. i am saying if you buy the high end RCA's they TEND to have some issues with the amp! so do what jacob recommends and just buy the cheap stuff! like what liljestrand recommened!
  2. to answer this question what amp are you planning on using? for example for sundown amps you have to buy cheap rca's or you have issues!
  3. o that is easy to fix!! just get some duck tape and it will all work out for you! !
  4. NICE!!! Nashville Predators ftw!
  5. So I have heard to get optimum spl out of my box and best proforance out of my sub I would have to find the resonant frequency of my car. So I fired up the SSA forum seachers and i didn't come across so I imediatly fired up the google machine and did some seaching and here is my findings: I can use math by: Now you measure the distance from the cone to the meter(the whole path it takes). remember the soundwave comes out of the front of the cone at 90 degress(straight) and out the back at 180. once you get the distance from the cone to the meter placement in inches, you divide that into 13,560. you will probobly get a high number, which is suspected. Since its 90 degrees, 1/4 waveform will be used. So 13,560/distance=x/4. or using a sealed box a sub and a meter. here are the 2 site i borrowed info from: http://forum.realmofexcursion.com/competitions-organization-meets-discussion/28614-how-figure-out-your-cars-frequency.html and http://audioforum.termpro.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=print_topic;f=6;t=000944 now I haven't done either of these yet but i will try out the measurment idea tomrrow ish and get back to you at what i get. also it has been recommend to me to use 41.5hz!! so we will see how close i get with math. NOW onto my question who has done either of these methods and more importantly has anyone done both of these methods and then compared them? If so what did you find? is it best to use a speaker or jsut work it out with math? thanks for your time and input Kenneth
  6. umm i think i missed something (i have a side mount battery) you have to cut the pos terminal off of your stock battery wtf? why would you need to cut the terminals offf? can someone please tell me what is going on here lol i am so lost. cutting off terminals isn't safe

  8. modding is the fun part lol first take some pics and get some measurements and we can go from there!
  9. what? really? send me a link this i must read for myself! also how much space do you have to play with? and any good electrical system will need the big 3 done!!
  10. lol i will take your word for it lol!! but what really matters is do you have any pics??? lol! no pics you didn't actual do it loL!!
  11. none other then he KNOWS how to package heavy stuff!!! have you gotten a sub off of him lately? lol!! man you cna drop that thing all day and no damage will happen! i know b/c the ups women droped it on the porch! lol!!
  12. umm i c. interesting! well maybe he didn't know how to package a heavy package like jacob does lol!! o well all the same lesson learned for him if he didn't get shipping insurance he might be out some cash
  13. well even if it is the sellers fault there is no reason to scorn his name. so don't even say it. and just leave it as lesson learned for the seller and also one thing to keep in mind these batteries are HUGE and 100lb at almost any fall will do some damage. but if it turns out he is a scammer then by all means smash his name. like when you got the box was it all destroyed? and what besides what would you put there to protect those terminals from a fall? like a 100lb's i don't know that is heave!
  14. lol no sir!! i wish i could though loL!!
  15. okay so you purchased something from knu...was it this? http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KBT-30P if not please post a link of to what you are refering to! and what do you mean a battery with multiple posts?
