  1. Try going to school first. Learn Some basic business practices. This fool STRAIGHT UP LIES. He revoked Donnies sale on ebay then said they were broken, then sold them to someone else. THAT IS COMPLETE AND TOTAL HORSHIT unacceptable by any kind of business stand point. simple slime ball move. period. that shit is black and white and can be read in ONE thread. Just about to say fuck this forum. Its a shame too, there are some actual smart people here i can learn a lot from. Just shady shit and i dont like supporting anything like that. SSA CANNOT THINK KEVIN HAS ACCEPTABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES, YET THEY STILL ADVERTISE HIS COMPANY. DOLLAR DOLLAR BILLS YALL! hey I never said what Kevin did was okay, I am just against Donnie bashing SSA, as whole, bashing Kevin is understandable and I am not standing by what Kevin did at all, don't get me wrong. and the powers of SSA must have seen something in Kevin to let him continue under there name for what that is we don't know and it remains unseen, but it must be for the good! maybe Kevin will surprise us maybe I wish I was a fortune teller lol! and don't get me wrong SSA has a ton of knowledgeable people who are very smart don't let this action dictate your future experiences/interactions on this forum.
  2. "everyone needs a little guidance once in a while to get there life on track" Yeah if your a child or irresponsible. PERIOD. I get this but consider that Kevin appears to be young and a go-getter, and young in the sense of business, not in the sense of age, sure running a company is a lot of work, and ppl can't just get up one day and be el-professional without a little help/ and guidance!! and I do disagree with Donnie on this, not Donnie as person but Donnie's opinion so please donnie or wood or anyone else I am just expressing how i see it so in the words of my hommie, don't hate the play'a hate the game! lol!
  3. dude you need to chill, for starters look at it from Kevin's view sold amp to knocked, knocked confirmed amp worked, a few days later knocked says it is broken.. from Kevin's view wtf happened NOW how Kevin handled this situation was bad, very bad, i am NOT excusing that at all, but for you to call ALL of SSA pathetic is BS, SSA is here to supply goods and make money hence a business, SKAR is a well built woofer with a lot of potential, for SSA to knock out a whole brand is a big under taking and shouldn't be based on 1 reason bad transaction I personally think it is great kevin did refund the money, i think Mark, and Jacob talking to kevin and guiding him in the ways of expert CS is amazing and I don't think they would have done that or even bothered with Kevin UNLESS they seen potential in him as a man and his product! Make and Jacob aren't dumb, and everyone needs a little guidance once in a while to get there life back on track!
  4. got ya! nice plan and your paint skills are pretty decent! you should see how other ppl use there paint skills... or rather paint disabilities! keep up the awesome work and continue to save our planet one chip at a time~! lol!
  5. very nice going though aluminium i bet lol! and nice job on the counter sink! did you have an issue with the aluminium spinning as the drill broke though? and make sure to sell those chips lol! hey why didn't you make one LONG bar to go across all 4 batteries?
  6. shouldn't each of those batteries be grounded to separate grounding spots on the cars frame? rather then 1 long run from the front all the way to the back?
  7. 8inch ports are expensive? I know audioable engineers make 8inch ports for 35$ each and they make 10inch ports for 60$. this is a full flare on both sizes, heck the 10inch ports almost have an overall diameter of like 13-14inchs lol!
  8. hey is there 2 -8inch ports in the box? It looks like one of them is plugged at 0:19 seconds (the yellow something)
  9. kick @$$ nicely done!
  10. Pardon my noob-ish-ness but WTF is that? upside down?
  11. and if that doesn't work hydrolics! and that is a lot of extra weight! lol!
  12. and why can't you post gut pics? is this some kind a tease? lol! is it a stetsom something amp?
  13. aww very nice! i was going to suggest if you had a hard time bending that weak ass 1/4 CRS either: - bigger pipe - use a torch - GROW SOME MUSCLES! but it seems you already got the 3rd one down pat! lol! and I like your idea to protect the batteries from external wear and tear! also once it is all done how much weight will be under your truck?
  14. i say the h/u or rca from the H/U is your issue then! again to test this theory out hook your mp3 player to the rca's of the amp and play a 50-60hz tone and see what results it yields! this will help to narrow down your issue or either a h/u issue or amp issue!
  15. well if there is music playing the reading you get on your DMM should be a small one! are you able to hook your ipod up the amp and see what kind a output you get? also i don't mean to sound mean or anything but which way is the gain turned on the amp? 2v or 8v? left or right clockwise or counter clock wise lol! also hook your dmm to the output side of the amp of the amp and wht kind a A/c voltage are you seeing on that end?
  16. what bromo said what is up with your remote also how do you know it isn't work? to test this hook a little wire from your positive terminal of your amp to you remote of the amp!
  17. I can't stand AE personally but then again I like to shop at Target, TJ Max, and Sundown audio, or the SSA store!
  18. For starters do you have DMM (digital multimeter) if so please check the outputs on the amp when your system is on and playing, put the meter in A/C V then check the RCA going into the amp if you see a voltage there then you know you have an amp issue if there is no voltage there you have a h/u setting gone wrong, or disconnected RCA behind the h/u. also you can get one of those RCA to Ipod cables and plug your ipod directly into the amp with the car on and see if it will output anything! do these and get back to us! also what h/u are you using, please post a link!
  19. o that is pretty cool to see! and I never really noticed the o-scope on the TL before lol! nice post! you don't have a clamp meter by any chances do you? so you will be able to find the output of each amp
  20. awesome be sure to post a pic here! also if you notice in my pic i posted if you look in the top right, after the stinger word, you can see the adjusting Philips screw!
  21. glad I could lend some advice! and yes dmm should always come with instruction manuals, mine didn't because it was used, I just got lucky because in school I use a DMM all the time and that is how I learned! also good idea on getting a stinger volt meter they work super awesome the only down side to the stinger meter is it is SUPER SUPER bright at night, I actually made a night time filter for mine, as I placed my stupidly on the dash so it nearly blinds me at night! the way I made my filter/screen was simple take a double mind gun packaging(the not the stuff around the gum but the case around all the gum pieces) and cut a piece out to fit the window lol! it is ghetto but it works amazingly for me! and be sure to set the stinger voltage meter once with the car off (well key in first click so stuff turns on) then turn the car on and make sure the voltage is good! to set the stinger meter you have to remove the front cover and turn the yellow Philips screw! enjoy and good luck!
