  1. i say get a bigger alt since you already have a decent starting battery and if you ever upgrade again an alt will be essential piece
  2. black is good! what about shipping to Canada?
  3. blue... umm aren't they black? they look black on my monitor..
  4. thanks! and how would i check out? via your site still or is it better/ easier for you to send me an invoice?
  5. would you ship to Canada? well i know you will ship to Canada but it says free... i would think to Canada it would cost a few bucks more!
  6. if i was you i would use zapco just because of the name plus i am running a 2-pairs of there comps and they are amazing plus i used to use a smaller zapco amp back in the day and it was doing me pretty well! but now i am spl lol sq is so quite but it sure sounds pretty lol!
  7. dear mister confused man! (your sub header in your post) please state what your current setup is in your car? and what is the current specs of the alt and battery for example if you are running say 5,000-rms i would recommend 2 big batteries in the back (near the amp) and 1 big one upfront and a H/O alt to boot (this is my current setup and it works nicely for me) BUT if you are running say 1000rms just get a bigger battery for upfront no real need to upgrade the alt unless you using a honda civic whihc has a what 65amp alt stock? so please fill in some blanks as in to what you are running and what it is running in! make sense and yes Odyssey is a good name brand in my books
  8. keep in mind the ignition switch you can also use your remote (86) and use 87 for your meter
  9. here is a relay pic! this helped me a lot! as for which one to get get a 12volt 20-50amp lol here is the one i use! http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=330-073 also this could help you to keep everything looking clean rather then a mess like mine is! http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=330-075
  10. did these pics help on the above link
  11. do a pair of 2500s I got a pair they are awesome
  12. use some fans like this! notice push and pull method across the heat sink
  13. you say you are using a stock h/u but are you also using a LOC ?
  14. as far as i know it is valid! and why are you shipping your amp?
  15. not to be a douche or anything but how about this one for 115$ ? (he has 15~ left) Havoc REV-665 85wrms x 4 @ 4 ohms at 12 volts 180wrms x 4 @ 2 ohms at 12 volts 190wrms x 2 bridged @ 4 ohms at 12 volts but from your list i would pick the jl
  16. hung over! story of my life! lol! but congrats on your score! also how warm does the sub get when you burp it? not at all? i would think being at 1/2 ohm and all the power you are tossing at that little guy it would get warm! and 0.1 gain by spinning the box is pretty cool!
  17. nice!!! where is the port shooting? into the tire well? also have you tested with the box spun around shooting into the cabin and seats down? (sealed off of course)
  18. i see both of those amps are in the tire well! that is awesome! huge tire well lol
  19. awesome thanks! as for a LOC i think i found one! it is simple and not complexed http://cgi.ebay.com/STINGER-SGN11-HIGH-POWER-FIXED-LINE-OUT-CONVERTER-NEW-/330486421962?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cf28699ca#ht_1598wt_1139 it says it is a fixed output and in the manual the ouput is a 2:1 ratio. so if the stock outputs 10volts the LOC outputs to my amp 5volts! what do you guys think of this LOC? any draw backs i am missing? http://www.stingerelectronics.com/images/pdfs/SGN11%20manual.pdf
  20. thanks man! also which way do you think is best to fire the sub. I want to fire it into the truck as i know she isn't going to be pulling down her seats to hear the bass. and maybe i will install some sound deadener in her trunk also!!
  21. ya i will double check on the size of her alt and front battery if they are to small i will scrap the project as i know she doesn't want to change either of those item's
  22. ported it is then. now one more question she doesn't want to upgrade her electrical so I think I should run this at 2ohm and I will do the big three to the car also what do you guys think
  23. wait so the sa12 works best with a sealed box... keeping in mind db's aren't the goal here you say a sealed box would work best? if so i think a sealed sa12 would work out nicely. also duran can you specify what you mean by works best.. loudest or clearest or most efficiently? sorry you say t/s specs and i am not 100% familiar off hand what makes a good spl sub vs a sq sub can you elaborate a little bit? or link me to a site where i can read up on this! thanks again
  24. hey guys thanks for the posts! ya putting a h/u in is out of the question with her! i don't know why she says a H/U looks ghetto.. ya i don't know she is crazy. but i am pretty sure she likes her setup and doesn't want to lose it plus it looks good. as for premium sound system there is an ome amp running a pair of comps and some rear fill some where also. as for the PAC LOC it looks pretty good i may pick it up. thanks agian
  25. what are you thinking? i am open to suggestions hell i still need a suggestion on a LOC lol and the build hasn't started yet!
