The Eagle has landed........
Cooool !!! I am waiting for one too Not for me, but I will be able to listen to it. And then see if I sell my Icon 15 saz1000 combo to buy the Xcon and the 1500amp. It will be nice to hear the differences in those 2 set-ups. I'd like to hear an Icon and Dcon for that matter. I actually got a friend that the Dcon would be perfect for.I bet theres not too many people running SSA and Sundown over there in Martinique huh?

My Xcon 15 came in today and its probably an understatement to say I'm excited. Just a little under a month now, and I get to throw this thing in and start jamming. And to think, before I started doing research and then found SSA, I was gonna get an Alpine Type-X 12 as the anchor of my "all Alpine system" . Everything was gonna match and to me, thats where it was at. Hell, if someone had asked me about 4 or 5 months ago about Sundown or SSA, I might have said "Aww hell naw don't get that no-name BS, get Alpine and JL". Lets just say I've evolved past that way of thinking and we'll leave it at that. Anyway, here are some pics: Now thats what I call one sexy son of a b***h!!!

Their both good. I think they both carry brands the other doesn't. Together they cover most of the major brands.

Get loud AND sound good?
Denim will probably chime in but he recommended 2.25-2.75 cubes to me for the 15. I went with 2.75. Still got to wait just a lil bit longer to install though. Hmm...if that's the case then why not ported? I don't really care about deebeez or being louder than the next guy. I'm personally leaning toward SQ rather than SPL. I figured if I didn't like sealed, I'd switch to ported, but I think its gonna be juuust fine for me.

Lowering Crown Vic
Did some digging and found these guys and I have been contact with them. http://coilsprings.com/index.html They have the front and rear springs specifically for the Crown Vic for $375. I'm gonna do some more checking before I do anything(marauder springs) but I think I'm gonna go with Coil Springs Specialties guys. I'm not buying this right now anyway(got to finish system first ) so I'll make sure I have done the proper research before making any purchases. Oh by the way, I've completely ruled out cutting. Thanks for all the suggestions everybody.

More testing.

Lowering Crown Vic
I got a quote from a local shop here that does rims, suicide doors etc., that said they can do it for me for $50 a spring(cuttting). I'm kinda like you though and like to error on the side of caution. That price is right up my alley but I'm not sure if I want to take the risk. Cv springs don't seem that easy to come by though as say a honda or something like that. The few CV spring kits I've seen run for like $1300 . I'm not sure which way I'm ultimately gonna go but I will definitely take your advice into account.

I'm about to order a dual amp kit from KnuKoncepts: http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KFX-PK20 What are the correct fuses I would need for the Inline Fuse and the Fuse Block for wiring up a 1500D and a 50.4. Thanks
