  3. The SAZ series amps do more then rated power and keep it up at low voltages.
  4. There's no reason for him to want to trade if his are better. Just keep your amps.
  5. Well how much would that combo be?
  6. Damn that sounds really good denim. And I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one interested in that deal. Hmm well I think I AM A go ahead and tell him about the mj18m and sax 125.2. But will that combo work really well together? The mj18 says 700 watts rms and the 125.2 puts out 250? Or more?
  7. I can make it on the 24th
  8. Well I'm sure I can make at least an 8 cuft box and still and still have room for an amp and battery. I told him to get a audioque 1200d? That sound good for either one of these subs? He mostly listens to rap and a little bit of rock.
  9. The guy really doesn't know much about car audio, I'm sure he has no desire for sq he just wants to move air and show off and what not. He just wants to be loud but he doesn't have a lot of money. He wants to stay in the 200-250 area for subs. It's going in a 98jeep grand cherokee.
  10. My friend wants an 18 in his jeep and I wanted to know how do the 2 of there 18" subs compare.. He wants a good sub for cheap so I told him Mach 5 was the way to go.
  11. BTLs get really loud and get low as well and if those are your goals then go with the BTL. As for the mayhem I have no experience with them.
  12. Jake, set up at least a date so I know what day to take off. And anybody else who is going if they want to sell any extra dynamat or second skin at the meet then bring it and I will go ahead and buy it.
  13. If you ever want to sell that kx250.2 I'm your man! I need one to match my sub amp.
  14. x2 I had two type r's in a huge sealed box. And I loved how clean it sounded but I wanted more so I went ported and it's a lot louder!
  15. Well a friend of mine had two BL's on a crunch gp3000d pro and hey handled the power well. Yes as long as you get all the options you'll be fine. But if you have money go with the XCONs they are very nice drivers as well I was going on your budget..
  16. 2 12" Fi BLs fully loaded. They will run you around 700 shipped. They'll get loud and sound good doing it.

  18. The aq hdc3 15's will work well with the aq3500 but for 2 btls you will need something stronger. At least 4000 watts. With that being said. What kind of elictrical upgrades have you done or planing to do? You will need at least 6 cubes after port and sub displacement... Right now I'm running 1 btl 15 and it's pretty loud.. So if you can't get two 15's to fit.. maybe go for 1 18? You want a sub in The right enclosure to perform well. And it will be much louder and sound better IMO
  19. What kind of budget are we looking at?
  20. I'm in. Should be completly ready by then.
  21. I had this happen to me one time. Last time I went to a local shop. This place was called auto extras. Anywho. I asked this guy to build me a ported box tuned to 32 hz and this guy starts asking me what kind of subs I'm gonna run and what amps. So I told him a btl and he never heard of it so I showed him the website on my phone and all the btl's specs and he tell me the spl is too low! That it should be in the upper 90's! And based on that fact alone that the btls were garbage. And then he started suggesting a jl w6 to me... Oh and I when I asked him to build the ported enclosure he asked what kind of music I listen to and I said rap and hip hop n such and he said that sealed is better for that music. And if I listen to rock more then ported is the way to go. Now I've had two 12" type r's in a huge sealed box and I loved listening to rock in my car cause the bass sounded so good. I think this guy was just trying to sucker me in cause I'm only 17 arshole
  22. Very loudd subs. Hope you have the power to back them up. Seeing as how you bought these without knowing what your electrical needs to be or anything.
  23. Yes. Pioneers are very good head units and the display looks on that one... And it has 6 outputs which is good as well..
