  1. I dont know anything about tractor batteries but it if it was me, I would go with the Kinetics. The 2000s are only $35 more each. Sounds like a good deal.
  2. Oh ya. Gotta be thick ass white lettering on a black hat. Cant wear much else cause they dont feel or look right. Tough to find the size too, 7 3/4- 7 5/8. Big ole egg head! 7 3/4s here hahah i have a sick ass collection of 59 fitted hats Whoops. I meant 7 3/4- 7 7/8. I always have a good few that I wear but they get sweated up eventually and shrink every time! Lost a shit load of lids that way.
  3. RIGHT! i have the same prob!!!! pucking sucks lol like id need everything to stay the same but add 3-5 inches in length. they should come out with dickie button ups I thought they used to make them because meade was always wearing them. I think... I wonder if Scott would get mad if I took a plain New Era 5150 fitted to an embroidery shop? Just a little custom shit to represent. Just get permission to use his logo. Offffff coooourse duuuude! I would never do anythi.....Brrrerrrrrerrrr! (tires squealing on the way to the shop)

  6. I just now noticed you are in AZ. If I get that far south again, I will definitely stop by.
  7. is all I have to say about that table saw. Lovely...
  8. I just got one too for the Autorama this weekend. I like the hoody but it seems a little short on the length though. Im only six feet tall too! I got a XXL and it fits perfect other than that. We need those LT style Scott!
  9. Actually the resin and hardener combine to form a chemical reaction like jroadtatts said but...it also takes a combination of the right weather as well. The hardener and resin are formulated to use in weather around 70-80 degrees. Its optimum but you can do otherwise like you all have seen. I have heard that the structure can become weaker if too much hardener is used. Ie to speed up the curing process in cold weather.
  10. okay so when i fuse those wires does it matter where on the wire? should they be closer to the distribution block or the amps? If you are downgrading in size of wire from the d block to the amp then you should fuse as close to the d block as possible. If using the same size wire after the d block then I wouldnt worry about fusing it. Unless your amp doesnt have on board fusing.
  11. The hook is ill. The equipment is second to none. The beat is obviously knockin. I love the old school diamond cluster letters at the end too. This video is sick Mark! Did I mention the catchy hook? LOL
  12. This is a great looking truck. This is a good job for starting your first fiber glassing project. Some tips I picked up... If you are using large sheets of mat, try instead tearing them into workable squares. It helps with giving the fiberglass structure more strength. If you havent gotten a bubble buster, I highly suggest it. Try using a space heater on each side of the truck. Wont take long at all. Dont forget to sand in between layers unless you have that new polyester resin. I get mine from Tap Plastics. It stays tacky until you add the hardener on the last layer. Cool stuff. Good luck!
  13. Looks great as usual. Ive got a Geo, Mark. Can I test out a prototype as well?
  14. If this is your first try, do it right. Find a proper grounding location. You can use distribution blocks from one run of wires to split the wires to the separate amps.
  15. I started my two way active build in September of last year. Granted, Ive had some hold ups but it just takes time. I still dont have it done yet. A good active system will require a lot of time in installation and planning. The learning of of this said system should take much, much longer.
  16. Excellent build dude. I love a blow through. Sucks about the US amps. That had to hurt! Great job.
  17. Man that BTL is wangin pretty good. Fi makes you wonder, "what the hell was I doing with that shit?" Nice job dude.
  18. Im going to try the Vifa later with the geo. They look nice and Ive seen others use them here. Plus they are really cheap and thats GOOD. Im going to attempt a three way in it... Yes, this is my first active system. I cant wait to get it all together and tuned. I'll let you know how I like them. You are lucky with the Honda and that good gas mileage. Im getting some nasty numbers on my side! Maybe when the geo is said and done, I could make a SoCal trip. That wouldnt be bad at all in that. Yeeaaah riiiiggght.
  19. I Already Know...among other things
  20. Jacob IS the man. I have to pinch myself sometimes cause I cant believe he is real! I dont know him personally but he seems like a stand up dude. With exceptional business practices.
  21. Thats a nice, clean looking truck. That paint is really nice too. There is a lot of colors popping out.
  22. Alright! This is cool. Big thanks to Mark and Aaron for the section!!! You guys are awesome and I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this site, which you allow us all to enjoy. Time to start tearing apart the truck!
  23. It would be ideal if you can get the exact dimensions to start from. This will tell us if it is appropriately sized or not. As long as the enclosure you are using is solid, then switching the baffle is...ok. Hopefully its not the one in the video, where the rubber mounting trim is slapping against the baffle. If it is, Id start over from scratch.
  24. Ya, up here in NorCal its pretty slim. Roseville just about hugs Sactowns hip, so Im right by the capitol. SoCal has a lot to offer but its just too far. I be willing to go as far south as Fresno, which is about 200 miles. Just cant find em though. Ive changed my tweeter from the Vifas because they were going to be on back order too long. I am having them ship me these Tang Bands instead. This tweeter problem is . I want my highs back!
  25. Im sorry. I should have clarified. The silver solder used in welding a hot water heater for example, is what I and thought he was referring to. It is much more pure than the stuff you are thinking of. Its silver as well but not as much.
