best amp for 2 btl 18's
Do you have the electrical for all this power? If so, why not the 4500D on those? It will do the trick and I know where you can find one a little cheaper...

Fi or SSa
Wish more people took this approach. It would be nice wouldnt it? Get em both and box em up. Stick em in two cars and if you dont have it then buy another car for the other driver!

Almost finished one door today. A little more touch up layers and its good. It looks like shit but it will still work and I dont have to look at it with the door panel on so fuck it. http://s694.photobucket.com/albums/vv302/bigrank916/MLI-65%20project/- 1st post quick f250 door build
Ya a build log as the first post is nice. Those doors are looking good. I wish I could do that for my truck.- Big 3 Question
Ya much easier to just add the wires then remove them. I started to do mine but changed my mind. If you want to remove all the wire for some reason, you dont have to replace the cables either.- Bass Blocker
Ive had mixed experiences with these before. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didnt. At high volumes they usually didnt work too well. Good thing they are relatively cheap so it wont hurt the wallet too much.- how can i tell if i have 2 or 4 ohm colis
Ya the DMM are a must. If you get one, might as well get the clamp version. They come in handy.- hello

The Z15 is a great driver. I just got one and it loves my metro. For $200, thats a deal hard to beat. Dont let the SQ driver fool you though, they get plenty loud and sound excellent while doing it. Im only running a SAX125.2 also. I havent heard the havocs before so I cant give an opinion on those.- 2 18s 4th order project
Sick. Just sick. That box is a tank! This is a super nice build and keep it up.- Welcome to the IHoP
- Review on 18" BTL
I took some pics of the box finally and got a little video too. The box was something real simple as it was the first slot ported box Ive ever built so it looks a little ghetto. The sound on the video sucks but you get the idea. I need my mids and highs badly! http://s694.photobucket.com/albums/vv302/bigrank916/18%20BTL%20box/- Bigrank916 voltmeter install
I got around to installing this little guy today and Im stoked. I used a 12 volt relay as that is what I have seen recommended. The install took a little longer than I wanted but overall it was pretty easy. The blue matches my truck and the illumination isnt too bright. I ran the power wire to the amp terminals to get a more accurate reading. The voltmeter is sitting in the old factory stereo location where it was swapped out for a cd pocket that the cds always fall out of. Piece of shit! It fits perfect and i like it recessed so its not blaring the light all over the cab too much. Very pleased with it though and want another for my Geo.- bigrank916 MLI-65 project
Not yet I as was into my Z15 box, my daughters b-day, and had a wicked storm here last weekend. I did fix the window though. Only to find out the problem was only a $20 switch! My main hangup right now is deciding where to cut the door panel. I think I want to keep it as far forward as possible in order to keep it closer to my tweeters. Then once I cut that out, I'll finish deadening the rest of the door. I dont drive my truck out of town for work so I can only work on it on the weekends. I just always have to many projects and so little time! - bigrank916 MLI-65 project
