Buy right and build right and you wont be disappointed with these products. If you have any woodworking skills I highly suggest trying to build one yourself as it will be cheaper in the long run which sounds like what you want.

Im going to go out on a limb and say you really didnt give that much info to give an answer to such a subjective question. You can try the cheaper route and build a new box instead of heading for a new amp first. Maybe that can help.

I am waiting for a 50.4 to power my comp set. I hope I will not have those heating problems. Hopefully not but I did have mine in a pretty tight ass spot. Im sure it just didnt have enough room to dissipate the heat well enough. I'll find out for sure on my commute back home on Friday.

Its just the fact that all birthsheets show amps doing over the rated power. If they were for each individual amp I doubt they would ever state that it does under the rated power. Who would want something that states your amp is inferior to the baseline power rating. I think that would be kinda lame and I know if I saw that on mine Id be like, "what the hell?"

If the amp didnt do rated power, do you really think they will put that on the birthsheet? "Ya...uh this amp only does 850 watts rms but its rated for 1000. Sorry about that but here you go." its not connected and and the audio guys did everything and its not working... i have a 90 day warranty but i dont know where to send it That could be a problem right there. I hope they did it right. Thats why I always hook everything up myself so if somethin goes wrong, I effed up. Nobody to blame but me. If you know somebody with a system try and ask them if you can hook it up in their car and see if it works. You can then rule out sending it back. The guys that installed it have been in car audio for 30+ years... and why would i not be able to send it back??? Not saying its their fault but you never know. You can send it back if you want but just make sure there is something really wrong with it. It never hurts to double and triple check things.

not alot of history. but a darn good company to deal with, they answer questions when ask, quickly. i think they are top notch. if your thinking about ordering do so you will not be disappointed. X2. You cant get service like this from mainstream brands. I'll never go back.

Check all wiring to make sure everything is right and still connected. Maybe something came loose on your test drive?

The 50.4 is a kick ass amp. Its got more controls than the starship enterprise. Want another one but dont need it. Never stopped me before! That combo deal is very nice also. Just go slow and buy right.

Not doubting you but I damn sure would love to see you fit 4-15"s with the appropriate box size in the trunk of a Saturn without choking your subs in a too small box because I could barely put 3-12"s in my car and had to sacrifice port area. Cant help you with the latch prob but I would love to see 4 15's in the trunk of a Saturn. Even sealed would be about 8 cuft but with 4 15's Im guessing you want all the output you can get.

Some people just dont learn that it would get you a vacation from the site to make two topics on the same thing or have the patience to wait for the answers they want or need. Looks like a mod has already fixed it. Patience my freind...patience.
